thank you for the upload g you actually want people to learn by showing the piano roll, vsts, presets, and explain the music theory behind the keys you pick. no gatekeeping full transparency thank you for your way of educating. from a beginner myself I can only appreciate this type of content. salute.
I have started this journey myself if you can give me criticism on my music I would highly appreciate it. just know i may make your ears bleed since i am fairly new at this.
fourth video in still great lessons but i wonder. Do you have guides on mixing the melodys with like portal and how to compress and equalize. and maybe guides on counter melodies? maybe you already have them i just havent found em yet. Much love from Denmark
Another phenomenonal video. Thank you for making such 🔥 beats and content. This dark trap melody gonna be stuck in my head rest of day. Pure 🔥 from start to finish!
Very nice video! Can i ask what you exactly did for insturment after 3:01? Is sounds like a pluck but theres is also an atmospheric thing under it, whats that?
hello sir please can you make one video explaining about 1,2,6,4 or etc progression all most i watch your all videos but i couldn't understand about it.i am new here.
yo rilster whats your thoughts on checking the mix in mono? i never knew most devices played in mono and it destroyed my mixes, confused the hell out of me. my mixes are already better and its only been 5 years! lol
Can you explain what a 1-6-4 is and how the numbering comes about. More so I want to know the number placements like you always do when explaining you start off by laying notes in a 1-6-4 structure. I want to know what’s the name called for this numbering structure so I can understand when watching your videos. Any videos or the title I should look up to know more about number placements.
So if you are in D Minor, and you place a note on D, that will be the 1 in the progression. The numbers are always starting on the root note, which is the bottom or foundation notes of your progression. Each note is numbered from the root note of the scale up and there are 8 notes in the scale. So... 1 =D 2=E 3=F. Etc... Hope that helps 👌
Dope video bro! Could you make like a helluva313/tee grizzley specific tutorial because most tutorials are really outdated from how he really sounds now??
One huge question I have for you, if you could please answer kind sir: How long did it take you to get good at making beats consistently? Just curious...Only been in for about a month, gets quite frustrating lol can make chords easy enough, make a lil melody easy enough, then it all goes down hill during layering and sound selection lmfao
Feel that brother. I have been at this about 4 months now and sound selection is easily one of the most difficult things for me. That being said, I am undeniably better at it than I was when I was one month in! I think we should strive to stop asking questions like "how long did it take you to get good" and the like. It can definitely be tempting, to try to gauge our own progress and rate of improvement by comparing it to others', but I think this opens the door for a lot of self-doubt and discouragement. There is no universal timetable, you know? Everyone learns and grows differently and ultimately your own process is all that matters. I feel that if we do our best to just trust the process and put our heads down and really work at this shit, it's impossible that we don't naturally begin to see improvement in all areas. Consistency and practice. And rly Beats videos, of course. Cheers homie, hope this made you feel better at least, haha! Good luck out there!! 😇
Anybody knows this ? Im new to music , what does he mean with , the 1 -2- and 4 ? Is 1 the D# ? Cuz if i count 2,6,4 semitones from that i dont come out with his notes , so i know i do it wrong
Right!? Like WTF is this shit. I just know a little bit but when they try and be like. " This is easy as fuck". Then proceed to talk and explain it in ways some people don't understand. It's like bringing a white guy to the middle of the ghetto and telling him to go get a BECSPK n keep the duce duce on ya when ya hit the block lol
