Oh you know music theory. You might not know you know music theory, but you know music theory. 🤣 if you took a class in it, you'd be like "oh yeah I know that".
yes bruh😭 he got these boys thinking they can jus click anything and its gonna sound good just because… nah u jus did music theory ur jus unaware of it
@6shootaa that's one thing about fl studio, especially 21, you basically don't need to know any classical theory, the grid and scale helpers and you're good to go 🤣
@@hen618knowing scales notes steps and intervals all that type of stuff. It really helps with producing if you know how to play an instrument and just wanna lay something down on record. But with all the tools available on daws nowadays music theory is not necessary. But if you want to take steps in being something bigger than an at home producer its best to know that stuff by heart. Some artists wont mess with you if you cant do this stuff off top.
Just because you don't know you're using music theory doesn't mean you're not using it. You really want to make something without music theory, you'd turn off scale highlighting and place notes at random. Also, your music vocabulary suggests you know a lot more theory than you realize.
Hey love the video I noticed you mentioned you put the EQ before you add any effects however the EQ was under the effects so just for future reference the plugins go in order from top to bottom so you would want the EQ in slot 1 if you wanted the EQ to be before every other sound
This beat is fireee bro I’m using you to learn how to produce cause I’m tired of having to buy other peoples beats to rap on I’m just tryna cook everything from my own kitchen, thanks for the tips🔥🔥🔥
Bro never do both at the same time, do one or the other. You can go from rapper to producer or producer to rapper, but both at the same time is a bad idea. Takes too long to get a following and work the socials and lyrics, and producing and learning daws and all the legal issues with samples and everything is its own career. GO hard on one then pivot later once you alright
great tutorial other than the fact keyscape and omnisphere together cost around 500 so it would be hard do recreate those kind of sounds for free if your just starting
You don’t need to consciously think about music theory to create beats, it’s actually counterproductive to do so, your creating a mood, a atmosphere, being chained to theory will just hinder your creativity
I have a really good ear so I really don’t need to know much about music theory so really all I need to master is drums, mixing, arranging, and vocal mixing.
You say you no nothing about music theory but built your entire song using root notes and building your base line, chords and melody from it. Thats theory lol
