Happy belated birthday! I’m 43, I was excited to turn 40! I looked at it as a milestone, a lot of people don’t make it to 40 (babies, young kids and adults)…..it’s a blessing. Just change the way you look at things and the things you look at will change 👌🏾

Happy Belated Birthday Melissa. I felt how you do when I turned 40, and didn’t want to celebrate it, but my younger friends threw me a midnight breakfast which turned out to be fun…my friends that were my age or older came through at like 9:30/10pm and left at 10:30😂

I totally agree with Mel on the notifications. I open some emails just to get rid of the notifications. I do the same with texts. I unsubscribe to all chain emails that send junk mail so I get less email. I do the same with my work email. If I miss a day or two of work, I come back to no less than one hundred emails and I have anxiety about it. My boss, on the other hand, has well over 27k unread emails because everybody copies her on emails they send out and so she selectively opens emails.

Turned 30 in May and I didnt celebrate it because I felt and still feel like Melissa with the self induced pressure and anxiety but now I regret not celebrating...like, is it too late?😅 I been 30 for 2 months already 😂 Maybe I should celebrate my 31st next year.
You are not to late go celebrate. To be honest I am almost 50 and still have this feeling. What I do know is that you can not get that time back wasting it on things you cant go back and change.
