Steve Jackson! There's a name I haven't heard in years. I still remember when Steve Jackson Games was raided by the Secret Service! Interesting times. I loved playing the RV in Car Wars.

I remember reading these books as a child. I didn't really play them the 'proper' way (I didn't use a dice or character sheet like they tell you to), but they were still good to read at that age. While I'm a bit on the fence here (if only because I feel that problem of having too many choices and needing to have a 'perfect' run in these sorts of games), it looks like a lot of fun for fans of this genre. It is a shame about the crashes, hopefully those can be fixed later, along with the lack of accessibility options. This looks like a great title who enjoy these games, even if I'm a bit unsure about it myself. Thanks for another awesome review.

as an inkle fanboy, i can kinda see how these games might not be great for people who hope to achieve an optimal playthrough. but to that point, sometimes you just gotta let the cards fall where they will.
I like that you can infinitely repeat events or rewind, since it was originally a book and you could do all of those things yourself. I do agree manual saves would be nice, since you could use multiple bookmarks in a book. Great review!
Fantastic review Lit-Rose. I recall seeing much simpler choose-your-own-adventure books, years ago. Looks like this is a great adaptation of the source material. Not sure if it is my jam, but it looks very well done for what it is…. I might check it out sometime.

I remember reading the books as a kid,which at the time were amazing.
Really loved the artwork in the first Sorcery book. Hope it translates well to the game and stays in the same gritty style

How does this game compare to Joe Denver's Lone Wolf game? I really enjoyed that one.

Are there text settings? I'm dyslexic & this don't is unreadable for me.
I’m not dyslexic or anything, the txt is far too small.
So anyone reading this, don’t bother. Some of the txt is a few pixels high. There is a work around on switch, press home button twice for zoom.
Not perfect but the option is there.
I've read from the Nintendolife review that the game is pretty buggy. Did you experience any (game breaking) bugs? Great review.
