  • Heavy rain fell on the day when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Despite the rain, I wanted to see the beautiful cherry blossoms, so I walked from Yokojugen Water Park in Koto-ku, Tokyo, to Sendai Horikawa Park (Sunamachi Canal Site).
    The park was built along the river, but with several more bridges, I felt it was a park in a water town.
    The sound of the rain beating against the water was pleasant, and I enjoyed the walk.
