Go Cubs! You've waited too long for this. It made me sad when the Marlins came back in 2003, and I'm a Dodger fan. Because of their refusal to put their channel onto AT&T, however, and because I admired Harry Carey, I want this year to be yours, Chicago Cubs, and deep down I think America wants this too.

+ir10031981 It wasn't Bartman's fault. That would have only been the 2nd out in the inning, and the Marlins scored a bunch of runs without getting any outs after that play. Plus, there is no guarantee that Alou would have caught the ball anyway.

too bad they don't have three of their starters anymore since last year. The NL Wild Card is crazy right now, so anything can happen.
***** just curious, but what are those glaring holes to you that the cubs have? I for one can only think of Hammel as a real hole that I see in the starting rotation. he is the weakest of the five starters. And then Heyward with his bat, but in my mind that is offset by his stellar defensive ability and then the other bats of the lineup pick him up. Otherwise, I can't really think of anything else
I get what you mean when they can sometimes be over eager, but so can every single other team. I disagree though about putting the balls in play. Players should always try to get balls in play, cuz that's how you get things to happen. One of the best things about the Cubs is the strikeout numbers have been brought down a ton from last year, which means we have taken our fair share of walks. We also don't technically have an easy out in the entire lineup. even our pitchers can make things happen. It'll be exciting to see how it turns out, but all I know for sure is that the Cubs are gonna be a tough team to beat this year, if at all in the PS

I will literally cry if they win it all... I've been to Wrigley field when I was a kid and I remember getting Ryan Sandbergs autograph and I have Mark Grace and Andre Dawson autograph... I can't tell you the anxiety I feel during the fall season and I'm really scared because I think this year might be it... God willing!

Been a fan since about 1958 when I was 9. Ernie Banks hit a home run at my first game and alas, the Cubs lost to the Pirates 7-2. All these years of waiting...'69; '84; '89; '98; '03; '08; '15; and now 2016! They will win the World Series and I and thousands of others who have waited all these years will finally be vindicated, thrilled, ecstatic, unbelieving, jubilant, and oh so very happy! Can't wait.Goooo Cubbies!
I'm basically still a pretty new cubs fan I've been one since 08 but that's pretty new compared to all the die hard ones but I knew once we got Anthony Rizzo things were heading a step up but Kris Bryant my favorite playing his batting stance is crisp and he swings for power down low

Actually 2008 is longer than me. I started watching the Cubs in 2010 so when I first started watching them they did nothing but lose and I kept denying being the 10 year old I was. I was born in the Suburbs of illinois

I remember not wanting to watch these before the Cubs at least won the pennant because I didn't want to get my hopes up too high so after they won I've been going through, watching as many as I can.
I've been here since 2001 and I've seen this team at their best and at their worse but I knew when Theo and Jed came to this team it will take a couple of years to build this team and look at them now it's worth the wait
