This is so awesome and primitive. Very creative and unique. I'm tired of seeing the same kind of journals over and over with purchased products and premade materials. I just love the look and "feel" of this journal.
Jude, what a yummy binding technique! I just LOVE how semi wonky (I say with great respect to you) and organic these all look!! As well as pretty much one of a kind! Your filming and instructions were right on, and easy to comprehend Jude. Now I'm going to check out your part two! Thank you so very much.
I could sit and watch your process videos all day long. I love your style and I love that you don't use a lot of printables and store-bought stuff brilliant brilliant I love it
Such wonderful creativity! I'm blown away by your signatures too. Now to look through your channel and see what other treasures you have. I'm very happy to have found you.
Love this binding! Very creative and inspirational. This could go many different ways. Thank you so much and I’ll look for the next video when it comes out.
Thank you so much for showing this how to. I did a stick binding for my little birchjournal, which was only 1 signature. Are you also attaching a cover to it? I am just curious how that would work, it could be inspiration for my leaves journal that I am working on now.
Good idea to reuse scraps. But I would prefer the spine to be same length as signatures so you can keep booklet upright. But you can't cut edges off since there is a chopstick inside. What about this: roll plain paper into a tube. You can use these paper rolls for lots of things, they are quite sturdy, and you can paint them, cut the ends. And nothing remains inside, since you remove whatever stick you roll the paper around in the end. Greetings from Germany ❤
