Hi Snuff, the geometry of the Avant is totally different from the Orca´s one. Orca has a competition geometry and this bike has a taller stack and a shorter reack to achieve a more relaxing position. If you need more details, please, go to orbea.com
Only thing I am disappointed in is the limitation on just 28mm tires. I'd be all over this bike if it could have taken a little larger rubber... 32mm or so...
I don't see why they had Zipps in this advertisement. Carbon race wheels don't make sense for this type of bike. While carbon rims absorb vibration a little better than aluminum, you can mitigate road vibration much better through a carbon frame and wider tires run at lower pressures. Putting Zipps or any expensive carbon wheels on an Avant would be wasteful.
I was wondering when were you guys going to introduce a new bike. Right on time. The bike seem gorgeous. But the voice dubbing and the musical selection for this clip its atrocious. We are in 2013 guys. The voice over seems to be selling hip implants and the music doesn't help either.

I hesitated for a long time between the Avant and the Orca ... my final choice is focused on the Orca which corresponds more to my requirements.

i love my bike, even though I got it bigger than my chart size
times have changed, most pro riders are using a more compliant relax setup similar to the Avant.
