No, you didn't imagine it. That is indeed what happens in those experiments. If memory serves, Umbrella wants the chemical or whatever for their Tyrant project.

Correction in regards to Alexander Ashford: Alfred didn't do any research or experiments, that was Alexia's project. However, as I expected, the virus caused a rapid change in his cells, triggering the complete destruction of his brain cells and body flesh." No prolonged suffering was inflicted on him either since the virus completely destroyed his brain. His death was a quick one.
You left out the best part about the first one regarding the Sheena island abductees. In order to extract the specific chemical they needed to create Tyrant Hypnos, it had to be extracted from ''still-living and fully conscious'' individuals to maximize the harvest, and the chemical was generated in large amounts by adolescents during times of great stress, so operating on the brains of kids while they were wide awake was purely for the sake of efficiency. As to why they weren't given anesthesia: it hinders the production of the chemical they needed. When the abductees tried to escape from prison by organizing a jailbreak: the island's commander decided to go full dictator and had them killed by firing squad. This was all ordered by Commander Vincent, who is so detestably cruel that even other Umbrella employees are disgusted by him.
Another file in RE survivor states that the subjects had to be alive and awake during the experiments. Also no anesthetics could be used in order to extract a pure sample of the chemical inside their brains

The development and whole plan for the nemesis pursuer tyrant. The Wesker children project that was conceptualized and put into play by Lord Oswald Spencer. That is another really messed up one. Especially when you wonder just how many other experiments were done similarly to that one.
I mean Raccoon city is hands down their most disturbing experiment. They allowed the city to continue on as normal even though they knew that between the initial outbreak in the Arklay research base and mansion and the 2nd outbreak caused by the "dead factory" processing plant being mismanaged and the 3rd being the botched raid against Birkin, that the city was doomed but they sent in mercenaries to see how they'd fare against their BOWs.
The idea of creating creatures of destructive power to replace the need of humans to fight in wars is so damn scary, like the idea itself does not seem far fetched to me, the world we live in, I wouldn’t be surprised if people can even pull this off in real life
That's smart for Umbrella staff to let their patients enjoy a life of leisure before the experiment procedure begins. In order to be made, the Tyrants from Resident Evil Survivor require a neurochemical compound produced while in great fear. If you let a man or boy a great life of leisure and then BOOM slam them on the operating table. Their brains would be so accustomed to comfort that the strongest hint of discomfort would trigger so much fear in the amygdala. Which could provide the necessary compounds for Tyrant production.

1:36 As far as I know, they were still alive during the procedure since they extracted noradrenalin or something and the best results (or only ones) came from the subjects still being alive during it.
@3:33 so the Umbrella from the live action franchise created their version of Crimson Heads them too. In Resident Evil: Extinction, Dr. Isaacs created an enhanced strain of the T-Virus. Scientists were fed on as well after the test subject finally became hostile. They were stronger, much faster and were very grotesque.
You forgot about the orphanage in the remake of 2. Stories of constant shots kids being "adopted" and then when one kid comes back seeking help and his skin peeling off the security team just killed all the kids. Its heart breaking reading the kids journal wanted to make his new family proud only to see his friend in an awful stat and wanting to go on adventures together again. Resident evil wasnt the same after umbrella was gone. None of the other groups can take the mantle
Unfortunately, those kids weren't killed before undergoing the extraction. In a diary written by a factory worker as well as a document written by the villain, Vincent Goldman, we learn that in order to extract the material in question, these young adults have their skulls vivisected since the terror and pain they're feeling will cause the gland in question to be more suitable for extraction. It shows just how cruel Vincent is. Even the factory worker is disgusted, wishing he could reduce their suffering, but Vincent won't allow it. Also, in regards to the prisoner in Resident Evil: Code: Veronica, we later get access to the experiment room in question. It's here that we find a body that's been vivisected laying on a cot, and then we find a diary written by the doctor, where we learn he claims to be possessed by a demon. He claims it forces him to act on his impulses to torture people. Putting two and two together, you realize what happened to Bob... and most likely countless other prisoners.
It's weird though how in RE7 Chris comes in with multiple umbrella helicopters with the logo repainted blue like hey we know umbrella did a lot of screwed up stuff but were going to keep there logo and name but the logo is now blue what do you guys think pretty cool huh were good umbrella we deal with BOWS and don't make them anymore
I thought the "Undertakers" were actually called "Cleaners". I only once read about them on a Resident Evil Wiki page and they were called Cleaners there.
@@KapaH8sU I don't think I found that one during my first playthrough, it does seem a little weird though that they share the same weakness as the parasite queen from zero.
Will there be a video of either Umbrella doing experiments on children at the Orphanage in Resident Evil 2, or Vincent's disgusting story of him taking children and cutting out their brains as test subjects on Sheenah Island!
1:30 Brain surgeries are often performed without the anesthesia... So, technically abducted victims had to be conscious when surgeons were opening their skulls and extracted "brain material". Also one of these guys is seem to be an author of this file, so nope I think they weren't killed and i think they were actually aware of their skulls being cut open. You're welcome XD
It’s a shame that my favorite characters are from umbrella. It’s a creepy association but in a way, I like them of course. A great antagonistic group that was renamed into blue umbrella in re7-onward unless that changes in 8. After all, the umbrella signs are all over the new map.
honestly, I think the worst experiment they ever made was the Tyrant series. Not only did it have a fail rate that would make modern science labs cringe, but when it did succeed it created a nearly impossible to stop creature that was barely controllable and would kill its masters at the drop of a hat.

I forgot about him.
No, umbrella didn't kill the kids before surgery, in fact they needed them alive and fully conscious so they produce the hormones from fear and pain.
I feel sorry for Lisa trevor
I love the Music in your credits , it sounds like Depeche mode in the 80s can you please reveal to me if is home Made or is it a song from a band ?
Worst and disturbing experiment was Lisa Trevor. This girl, now woman had suffered.
The Hunter & Ashford's adopted dad....those origins/stories are f'ed up man. But come to think of it, Umbrella themselves are juz messed up.
Thaz why the RE series is so .....damn.....good.😁👍
I wonder how they even recruit their employees? Job requirements : complete psychopath and lack of compassion?
LOL Right??? Good question!
yo this stuff is so interesting. not even gonna lie. i love the details and story behind these games. its like watching them docs on history channel lol i know its video games but these games hold so much more meaning and lore i didnt even realize while i played them. now when i go back to play these games...i get a more even sinister vibe
"Where did Umbrella get all these 3-week old human embryos?"
Planned Parenthood 🤣
Wait, did Umbrella do something with the Racoon City Hospital? I remember them doing something under the hospital.
These videos are so damn interesting, hard not to click on
It's weird though how in RE7 Chris comes in with multiple umbrella helicopters with the logo repainted blue like hey we know umbrella did a lot of screwed up stuff but were going to keep there logo and name but the logo is now blue what do you guys think pretty cool huh were good umbrella we deal with BOWS and don't make them anymore
If I remember it right, the victims from the first case were kept alive during the brain harvesting.
Another excellent video dude!☺👍
that ending shot though 👌🏻🤣
I thought the "Undertakers" were actually called "Cleaners". I only once read about them on a Resident Evil Wiki page and they were called Cleaners there.
Same job duties.
Which is worse? The Umbrella Corporation or the U.A.C. from the DOOM series? 🤔
"This video could be 30 minutes" And yet for some reason, it _isn't_ .
“It isn’t “ I agree ☝️
The most disturbing experiment is : Umbrella Corps.
Hey Nacho, would you consider looking into how flash bang grenades can kill exposed las plagas parasites?
What exactly do you mean? There is a file in RE4 that explains that Las Plagas is destroyed when exposed to light.
This channel is so cool.
Resident Evil is lowkey dark AF.
I need part 2 of Umbrella’s disturbin experiments please
Keep it up. Keep making the mysteries.
1:30
Brain surgeries are often performed without the anesthesia... So, technically abducted victims had to be conscious when surgeons were opening their skulls and extracted "brain material". Also one of these guys is seem to be an author of this file, so nope I think they weren't killed and i think they were actually aware of their skulls being cut open.
You're welcome XD
Little bit of good news at least, the brain has no pain receptors.
@@poiuytrewq11422 I know so you can't feel the pain, but I wanted to sound dramatic and disgust some people to death xD
Another great on my guy
This is just really disturbing bruh
Thumbnail:
Mr. X: Lets go
Title: T-VIRUS?!
It’s a shame that my favorite characters are from umbrella. It’s a creepy association but in a way, I like them of course. A great antagonistic group that was renamed into blue umbrella in re7-onward unless that changes in 8. After all, the umbrella signs are all over the new map.
I thought alexia and alfred both tested on their father
"This video can be 40 minutes long..."
Video: 5 minutes
That guy in thumbnail looks like a Variant in Outlast.
man I'm surprised you never mentioned Lisa in this one
honestly, I think the worst experiment they ever made was the Tyrant series. Not only did it have a fail rate that would make modern science labs cringe, but when it did succeed it created a nearly impossible to stop creature that was barely controllable and would kill its masters at the drop of a hat.
