This was awesome, I gotta get a Launch, atm I only have the X2 and the X3 with the wifi 4 port extension. Although that should be good enough to control my Kalk dosing schedule, i would love to have salinity readings in the mix. I have a dedicated Kamoer F1 for dosing kalk which would work great with that drive port. I think I could track pH and dose Kalk accordingly up to a max amount. BTW, where did you get that hoop on your door? :)

Thanks for watching!!!! The basketball hoop came from a local store here called Miejer. They’re not as big as Walmart or Target but mainly only have stores up in the mid west. It keeps my kids busy :)

Very helpful video. Thanks man. I'm strongly considering going for the Launch. Can I plug the launch into a power bar. The outlet is too far from my tank and I run a 10 ft power strip to my control board inside my cabinet.

Yes you can. I do the same thing myself. The launch and XP8 offers 0 surge protection similar to Neptunes EB832 bar. The only thing to be leery of is to make sure you don’t over utilize the amperage from the wall or breaker you’re connecting to.
