What is the color of those beads? It’s a perfect color for leaves.

Hmm I don't know the name--those seed beads don't always have set names. Look for an olivey green bead with rainbow finish.

You’ve lost me at the 8:47 mark. I have rewound the video about 8 times but I still can’t seem to understand where I connect the two sides together. I tried to fake it to move forward, hoping it would just happen, but it’s not. I may try delicas to see if it works any better for me. You are a REALLY fast beader and I have a hard time keeping up with you. But I love your styles and I did make the heart from your other video. Thank you for sharing your bead weaving talents on camera. It can’t be easy😀

Hi Janet, I appreciate your feedback as I am still new to making videos! If you want to try making this cap again, I think my advice would be to make it without connecting the petals. Put in the connector bead between all the petals but eliminate the connecting step. When it is done, step back and have a look at how you might go back with your needle and thread and connect the petals. I hope this will give you an idea of how the beads should sit together. I hope that helps! Oh, and I don't love this cap with delicas--it makes the petals kind of stiff.

Seed Bead Bliss thank you for the advice. I wanted to make some petal caps with beads in the past. I will try again today. I was able to make one petal no problem so this seems like a sensible approach to the solution. You’re an awesome teacher. 😃

Hey hey! I finally got this technique down. I solely used delicas and wanted to show a photo of how they look. The thing is, this is such a great basic building tool to work from. I have plans to one day build a dragon out of these little petals. It seems like the perfect scale of a dragon. And I have used added beads at the start to make larger scales, also did one with triangle beads, and did one that was not even correct but could still be useful one day.
      So thanks again for sharing.

Very difficult to follow your instructions... You have to be more slow and precise... Anyway your project is cute
