The American dream is possible but you have to be willing to work for it. Love the video, as someone who isn't an international student I was wondering what I can do to make them feel I guess more comfortable. I am going to a high school now that has many international students and I'm just not sure how to talk to them or if they even want to talk to me because I don't know their language.
Hey there, I'm an international student and I'm glad that you want to make them at ease as we mostly hope to be friends with someone like you! You can talk and discuss about their cultures and countries and exchange about your culture too! Even just discussing about the American pop culture would interest them because a lot of intl students hesitate to talk with domestic students as we're not very familiar with the culture in the states. And also always help them if they need anything.

Hourly wage rate actually depends on the state you are in. Some state and school pay close to $13 an hour.
Higher living cost comes with higher minimum wage. Like Cali and New York

Hey I have a question if you don't mind, what's are the chances to get an H1B visa in USA like for the upcoming students, and could you tell some tips or tricks to manage your way to USA!
There are no tricks and H1b is a lottery. If you get pick, you get pick. You have 3 slots each year. If they don’t pick you for all 3, that’s it. Mostly, tech majors get it more.

I hope I’m not to late but generally they’re not many French speakers besides high school students taking it as a language class. Most Americans will find it fascinating that you speak another language.

Colleges don’t base applications abs acceptance based on origin or race. You can apply to anywhere you want, so far as you qualify and can afford.
Hi, please in cases where you don't have financial support but you manage to get your visa can you defer the program a year and start School.
Will be interesting to see you get your visa or admission without financial support. Even if you do, some schools can void your I-20 if you try to defer your admission to a different date after getting your visa. They might think you used them. And not, if you come to the USA with that visa, without the schools consent, normally you only allowed to come to the USA a month for school to open, you might get into trouble and have your visa revoked. If you trying to defer, wait till the year you ready to attend and then apply for the visa. Like schedule your interview for that year.

I believe that some Colleges are better for international students than others.
Rent housing and tuition are a problem in America.
Ghana is far better than the entire USA system because we are more flexible.
Legon is quite complex compared to the KNUST.
However the Science and Tech subjects are much more complex for the GPA or the CWA that you have.
Good insight but I don’t entirely believe everything you said. Ghana has some good side but in terms of the respect of educational curriculum, making money, and flexibility, the ISA is better. Ghana is not flexible at all in the education system. It’s very rigid. Your BECE or WASSCE results decides your fate unless you do fee payment. Rent, expenses and food is cheaper in Ghana but at the same time, the money you make in the USA is good and better than in most Ghana jobs. I’ve live in both countries and this are my opinions.

USA pays more but the taxes that you pay is another issue.
No wonder so many people are always dodging their tax payment year in and year our Fiscal year 2022.

I know you want to go there but if you can’t afford it then don’t do there. You can go there someday when you get money. Look, this colleges don’t give a crap about you. Just go somewhere cheap that you can pay.

please, If I've completed 2 years in community college, does transferring to a 4-year university mean I have to complete 4 more years making 6 ?
It’s 2 + 2. Depending how many credits you take might affect it.
Perhaps America is much better for the PhD in the Sciences or the Economics or even the humanities.
However the cost of living is quite scary because of the power of the US Dollar.
Health Care in America is quite good,however the cost of health care is getting more and more expensive every passing year.
Why do Graduates still want to study in America for an undergraduate or a graduate degree in the USA.
Graduate and PHD are good in the USA especially since most schools give scholarships, TA, research assistant, and many other scholarships, it makes the USA good. Health care here is messed up so I don’t blame you even tho the health care is much better

Please I want to ask the following questions regarding someone who intends to do masters degree study in USA as an international student:
1. Does US master's program require bank statement from home country or block account in US?
2. If I need bank statement, how much will be required to appear in the statement?
3. If I need to open block account in US, how much will be required to be in the block account?
4. How much tuition deposit will the student need to pay before processing his visa or will he need to pay the total tuition for the program while he is still in his home country?
5. For example, if I have admission for a 1 year MSc program with tuition fee of $15,000, will I need to pay the school the full $15,000 before I leave my home country to US, or will I pay half from my home country and pay the balance while studying in US?
6. If I study 1 year MSc masters program in US, how many years postgraduate work permit will I get after graduation?
Hey Justin, I am a current Masters student in Dallas Texas. I can answer some of your questions
2)Usually, most schools require you to have a full year's (2 semesters) tuition, fees and other miscellaneous costs (like living and feeding, which is usual based on the school's estimate)
6)So there's the OPT (Optional Practical Training) program for international students. It gives a US legal work authorization to those who have graduated from US colleges. It is usual for 1 year but if your degree is a STEM major you get 2 additional years of extension

You cannot go straight to medical school. You need to get a bachelors degree in any of the science field first or any degree and get all the pre-requisites for medical school done first before you can apply for a medical school. SAT for colleges and MCAT is for medical school. It’s hard to get scholarships for medical school as an international students but you can try after your get your bachelors degree. SAT is to help you get scholarships to community colleges or 4 year college.
Hello Nana, I do want to apply to Houston community college Texas, their tuition for 15credits is $4000for international student, if I work as a student, can I cover the money for my tuition, books, feeding, transportation and the rest?
Will be hard. That means it’s about $9,000 a year. You also need to consider rent, expensive m, for books you can rent unless you have to buy a code for class access. You won’t be able to intern until after one year of studying at the college. If you have some money saved before coming then if you strategize you can make that happen
