What is the purpose of closing them up for 4 or 5 days?
the purpose is that bees forgot old place and start like new colony, I do in the same way and the method is very successful
Did you just make the plastic type inner cover or can those be purchased?
They come as part of the Apidea. The cheap Chinese ones don't have them.
