I also purchased Encre Noire men by Lalique as a gift for my son and he doesn’t like it one bit. I’m enjoying using it myself! It smells great to me. Taste in fragrance is very individual. Love your channel! I have a vintage fragrance recommendation for you. It's called Bijan for Women by Bijan. It was produced in the early 1980s and it's a very sweet musky seductive intimate fragrance. My husband loves it and everytime I wear it, I get compliments from men. The donut design bottle is the typical 80s era. If you love sweet musky scents, you should like Bijan as well.
I don't know why but I never thought to even check to see if LA Perla has perfume. I watched this video and then read in the comments about another perfume named Bijan. Girl, I've just been out here virtual shopping. I decided to come back and leave a comment though. And it's a shame that the DSquared 2 and the Dolce & Gabbana perfumes didn't work out for you. I have been taking perfume, pumping unscented lotion in my hand, spraying the perfume into the lotion and them first applying the lotion before spraying my pulse points. I have only been doing it for a couple of weeks. But it's really helped the longevity. And it's like being hugged by the fragrance. Kinda liked being wrapped in a comfy good smelling blanket. I wish I knew about this sooner. But I'm glad that I know about it now. I don't know if this will help you or someone else. Mostly because some fragrances just don't vibe or rock with us like we want them to.
If you are going to anything Gres, try the Les Signes de Gres collection (there are three). They range from $30-$50 each but smell niche. Madame Gres is not bad either, a little sweet, a little vintage, all classy. Try La Perla signature for a soft sleepy time scent, it's feminine and beautiful, like you :).
Agreed on Kors Glam Jasmine. For me, it’s indolic, heavy and cloying to wear. Smells much better in the bottle ☺️ I will definitely use mine sparingly, paired with other fragrances to use it up if I don’t gift it first 🤗
Love your reviews! Blind buys can be hit or miss, with that said I don’t know if you ever had tried Bora Bora by Liz Claiborne an older fragrance but is a very beautiful white flora, it is very clean soapy a little tropical great summer floral perfume and very inexpensive.

Michael Kors Perfumes never work out for my personal scent profile. I bought the Jasmine scent that you mentioned, at Marshals and I thought that something was very off about it. Hi!!!! Yea, not every perfume is going to mesh well with everyone. I remember a few years ago… I told u about Cabotine. I smelled it on a customer at the casino I work and she smelled so pretty. I guess it just went well with her chemistry.
Have you tried Ellen Tracy Bronze? It's such a beautiful amber floral, the only thing I don't like it doesn't last more than a few hours but it's inexpensive enough to reapply it often
I agree with you about cabotine de gres! I like it in the opening but dry down is too animalic! I got glam Jasmine and I think it’s pretty but it’s a little bit too mature and I prefer sexy blossom!

Shana, before you give up on the Light Blue line entirely, have you tried Light Blue Intense? It's citrus heaven. The scent definitely lasts longer than the original. You should try a sample before you give up on Light Blue entirely. Jeremy Fragrance recommends the Intense version over the original for women. As usual, love your reviews.
Armaf Legesi for her is an AMAZING scent that has the Light Blue vibe but fresher, more green apple and yet has warmth and lasts like crazy. Every time I wear it I get compliments - all my sons and my hubby comment on it every time too😍.
The original Light Blue smells awful to me as well. I blind bought it and was so disappointed with it. Smells like bug spray. I might try the intense , maybe.
I was impressed when I smelled Glam Jasmine in summer but few years later got a sample and uoaahh what a cold piercing scent it is , extremely elegant but not delicate, mature and posh on the mature side but not enjoyable , maybe in extreme hit ?

Cabotine is one tenacious floral. I love it, sort of like a nuclear version of White Shoulders which is a soft feminine floral with a lightly animalic dry down. I was also disappointed by La Mia Perla, pretty powdery scent but it threatened to bore me to death

They are Le Bain by Joop (I know old school right?) and Signorina Misteriosa by Salvatore Ferragamo. I blind bought these out of curiosity and I was sooo pleasantly surprised! As soon as I smelled them I immediately thought of you. Seems like your vibe. They are both very nice. I am so impressed cuz they are not expensive at all!!

I LOVE wood by dsquared2 but like you said it doesn't last at all. I use it as a layering scent. It layers well with pleats please by Issey miyake or I put it over any versace summer fragrance
Oh, I have so many STINKERS that have been suggested by youtube fragrance reviewers! Some of them really pizz me off! A couple for instances are, Agent Provocateur Fatale Intense, and Sarah Jessica Parkers Lovely. HORRIBLE STINKERS! On a happier note, I received 3 winners today that I had ordered.

A friend got me a huge Bottle of Glam Jasmine it was so nice of them to spend the money on the gift but I've had that fragrance for 2 years and only have sprayed it once 😭😭.. it reminds me of my grandmother so much it's definitely a mature scent and it is way too much for me so I totally agree

Michael Kors makes crappy quality stuff, a few years ago I bought a purse that had the lock in front for over $300 and the front of the purse started to sag from the weight of the lock within a year, I purchased Sexy Amber perfume for over $100 and it seriously didn't last for as long as a body spray, I no longer purchase anything Michael Kors.
I know how u feel. Once a brand loses me it's hard for me to trust them again. Too many quality brands out there to keep supporting the ones that don't work for us.

I wear cabotine since 1996 but not regulari.The smell is not the same since my last bottle.Right after the flower opening,….it smell animalic like « a old male cat « I was desapointed.You are wright ,it smell bad😂Beafore it was smelling good.Also i Share to you a desapointement:yesterday i bought the new bvlgari rose goldea blossom delight and i bought it too fast.It smell good but it do not stay on me.I over spray 3 times in 1 hour and noting😓no smell….it stay 5 minutes…oh! I smell amarige from Givenchy yesterday…. Samething as cabotine….after the one minute flower opening,it smell animalic.I dont know what happening but they must have change the formulation.English is not my first language …as you can read!😉I love your video.You are my favorite of all the you tube!💖

I LOVE wood by dsquared2 but like you said it doesn't last at all. I use it as a layering scent. It layers well with pleats please by Issey miyake or I put it over any versace summer fragrance

Oh, I have so many STINKERS that have been suggested by youtube fragrance reviewers! Some of them really pizz me off! A couple for instances are, Agent Provocateur Fatale Intense, and Sarah Jessica Parkers Lovely. HORRIBLE STINKERS! On a happier note, I received 3 winners today that I had ordered.

You said you haven't found a boozy fragrance that you like... have you tried Angel Share by Kilian? I have a dupe from Oil Perfumery that smells exactly like the real thing. It's amazing!
Have you ever tried Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden? I watched LuuLuu’s World on YT and she said Green Tea is her Light Blue. She said the regular Light Blue doesn’t work for her either.
Haven't worn GT in a LONG while, i guess i ahould revisit it. When I want my LB fix I usually reach for Violet Eyes by Elizabeth Taylor or Moschino Funny. Theu both hit the spot. Thanks for your input doll ❤💯.

Cabotines de Gres is the worst ever, I cannot stand it. So strong! I tried it at TJMaxx and I cannot believe the price for this scent.
Cabotine didn't work for me, it's less green and more vintage soapy.
A friend got me a huge Bottle of Glam Jasmine it was so nice of them to spend the money on the gift but I've had that fragrance for 2 years and only have sprayed it once 😭😭.. it reminds me of my grandmother so much it's definitely a mature scent and it is way too much for me so I totally agree

Michael Kors makes crappy quality stuff, a few years ago I bought a purse that had the lock in front for over $300 and the front of the purse started to sag from the weight of the lock within a year, I purchased Sexy Amber perfume for over $100 and it seriously didn't last for as long as a body spray, I no longer purchase anything Michael Kors.
I know how u feel. Once a brand loses me it's hard for me to trust them again. Too many quality brands out there to keep supporting the ones that don't work for us.
