For example ellen with soukaku crit stats and elemental dmg gain upper hand but ZY team as of now with nicole caters more for attack % buffs and passives but that change when you slot in a soukaku, her sig deals way more than other alternative
her signature one and it's miles better. This guide is misleading. Different W-engine require different build. If you use Starlit engine forced you to juggle between CR/CD and Pen% ratio because it gave you bunch of attack%. Zhu Yuan signature weapon on the other hand let you focus on crit rate only due to it's CD% stat which is already easy to built thanks to her massive crit rate buff. This means you can get away with worse sub-stat roll, a.k.a the usual hoyo system. The problem is we still don't know where Pen. ratio sit in this new system. In theory there's a diminishing return at 3k+ atk and once you hit that number PEN is better than atk% but I don't know the exact number yet

The starlight engine is stronger than Neko’s in almost every scenario lmao and it’s cheaper to upgrade too. Feels bad when you lose 5050 to a weapon that underperforms against a freely craftable weapon.

This is in the damage calculation formula we already knew about. It’s called combat dmg% bonuses in most people’s formulas. It, along with crit damage and elemental damage% all apply to your total atk as a multiplier after everything else has been added. I don’t remember off the top of my head where soukaku’s flat atk bonus is calculated though.

Atk% really does a lot when your dps already has a lot of flat attack on top of atk buffs you may get from a support like Soukaku
