If anyone is on the fence about the DeWalt cut off tool…just GET IT…that thing is pretty bad a$$…it has quickly become one of my “do everything” tools. I can’t recommend it highly enough…another great video…keep them coming!!!
Thanks bham! Yeah, those tools can quickly become invaluable. The other day I found myself pondering whether to use it or an oscillating tool to cut out some squares in some plywood. They'll also eat through metal locks way faster than an oscillating tool ever could.
Do you have a few Ryobi vacuums? Seems like you mentioned some a while back. Got a PBLHV701B, Curious if the powered brush on 700 Tools direct stocks would be better?
I do! I have 2, an upright stick vac with double roller PBLSV717K and a 40V shop vac RY40WD01B. I use the stick vac almost every day to suck up the brown recluses in my house 🙃. I also use it for tile after cutting my hair and shaving. Works great! And that's with their basic 4 AH battery.
The stick vac is currently out of stock. I think they're replacing it. But I'm sure the single roller is just as good. Probably a little better since it can direct more power to that single roller. I use it mostly without the rollers though.
Can you hack Ryobi stuff like that battery bundle with free tool?

I've had decent luck with with Tools Direct in the past, but the last time I purchased some items there, they were garbage. They literally looked like someone garbage picked them and put them in the box and returned them. The battery was used up so bad it wouldn't take a change, and even the boxes they came in looked like they were pulled from the trash.
All I can say is, buyer beware!
I will never ever purchase from them again.
Yikes! Yeah, it's a hit or miss but I'll say it's mostly a hit. All of my items over the years have been brand new or new open boxes. This is why I recommend everyone check their items IMMEDIATELY.
Those two free tools with the dewalt battery kit are junk. That’s not a good deal with those bare selections
The cut off tool is great! The others are mediocre for sure. But still with that 6AH it's a good deal for $259

Does anyone have experience with Tools Direct or Ebay? I've never used either.
Tools Direct can either be a hit/miss.
I've bought a couple items from then and never had an issue. I had a coworker try and buy a band saw and he didn't get the right item and he said they were a pain on the return process.
Buy what you need and test it immediately. Either try a store return or go through Tools Direct.
