Henderson State Park located on the Emerald Coast of Destin, Florida was a perfect stop to relax and rejuvenate our minds & bodies. Spending "One Night in Paradise" was such a blissful experience. While we were making this video, we were smiling ear to ear because every couple needs to get away and spend some quality time alone together. As the sun dips behind the horizon, such beautiful colors appear in the sky. The pictures and the video does not do the sky justice as the bright orange, warm pinks, and purples colors cast a magical glow across the sky. Walking barefoot on the cool, powdery sand, you feel a profound connection with nature and your youth.
We recommend Henderson Beach State Park 💯 percent. We are going to have to get online and make it happen again for us next year, hopefully we can stay longer.

John and I drove thru Destin last September and we did a quick check on that Park and another park away from the Beach heading out of Destin but couldn't even find Tent Camping Sites available for more than 1 or 2 Nights. We would be driving up from Ocala and needed at least 3-4 Days to make it worth the drive. Thanks for sharing the views from Henderson Beach State park. It looks like a Wonderful Place to stay. And it's close enought to Destin to enjoy the AirStream Food park, The beaches and the Cajun Restaurant off the main road. We LOVE State Parks!! If you go down south to Orlando Area, check out Moss Park in East Orlando. It's only Water and Electric but it has nice, secluded spots. Foliage ALL Around :) Happy 32nd Anniversary 🎊❤❤
Thank you, Moss Park is in our backyard. Doris spent many years with her family there. Yes, it is a long drive from Central Florida and 3-4 days would be ideal to spend in Destin. 👍🏽👍🏾

Hello from Maine. New subscriber here. Thank you for sharing a beautiful campground. We have traveled to Florida with our camper many times. Florida has some beautiful state parks! We love Anastasia Sate Park, Curry Hammock State Park, Bahia Honda. Last month we state at another state park just below Anastasia. We booked it just as we were pulling off the I95 late into the evening. I don't remember the name, very secluded, long drive into nature, quiet. Also, if you ever get to go to Fort De Soto, that is a beautiful County Park. All the best to you. Safe travels. Happy Anniversary!

@@playingoutsideafter50 A lot of people come to Maine and head for Acadia. Acadia is nice though very busy. If you head in that direction, I truly love Quoddy Head Lighthouse. There are beautiful walking trails on both sides of the lighthouse following the coast line. I really love to go to Moosehead lake in Greenville, Maine to Lily Bay State Park. When you make it to Maine, I would be happy to answer any qeustions you may have. Safe Travels. Have fun.
