Judas Priest was my introduction to heavy metal, 23 years ago. They hold a special place in my heart ever since

Rob’s growls starting down in the basement and sliding all the way up to the rafters is one of my favorite moments in the entire Priest catalogue. 🤘

Nightwish Army in the house. So glad you found JP. Saw them live probably 10 times. Greatest male heavy metal vocalist of all time.

The power of Priest. For over 40 years they have been my favorite band. I have seen so many concerts and with Judas Priest they are incredible on stage. Rob showing how it’s done. Richie Faulkner has been a great addition. Firepower album is one of my favorites as well.

The crowd is probably so calm because this is a new song, and unfortunately most people who go to see older acts are only interested in the classics. No matter how good the new material is (Redeemer of Souls was a fantastic album).

I saw this concert in Denver, was later in the tour, and most people were in their 30s-50s. But EVERYONE was rocking and singing to this song. I think it just took a bit for the word to go around and the material sold itself. This is one of their best albums.

But Halls of Valhalla is a banger among the fans now like Lightning Strike. The natural floor was full of water by the rain that just stops when Priest entered the stage and was cold as fuck. That's why crowd was so calm, they were physically exausted/destroyed

Wacken 2015 was ALL about scary weather and freezing cold

redeemer was not a fantastic album. Firepower is a fantastic album, and it shows, because they play it and the crowd loves it

I was there too, the truth is in the comment above. Wacken 2015 was full of mud, extreme storms, and too many bands and this is the end of the festival. We were all destroyed. However, everybody was paying attention to the Gods. They all came to see it.

I was there. Amazing to see a reaction to it. 2 days later i saw them again right after a week of Wacken madness. I was dead at the end of it.

The slide is even more impressive in the album version but the fact he can do this at all not to mention live is mindblowing.

The rhythm guitar player Glenn Tipton had early Parkinson’s at this point too. Consummate professionals.

I've been going to see Judas Priest since 78. Never missed a tour except when Ripper sang. Then I was at the Halford live shows including Fight. You should look up just the band Halford and listen.

Your hearing an aging Rob Halford, still great but you really need to hear him in his prime in the late '70s to mid 90's.

The only Judas Priest song that I don't like. With this song Rob has fallen very low ... The song starts out well. The first one minute is good, but the continuation is great shit. What a pity.
