Thanks guys I just visited a friend who I haven't seen in over 20 years. When you get a little older you realize you or your friend might be gone tomorrow. I just know that it did me good. Thanks again
Is there anything you guys can't do?!?!? This was an epic video beyond epic proportions!! I need to get a bear for the back of my Ram lol! I wanna go for a ride in the truck! Great video and legendary job as always guys! Love you all!!! ❤💪😎 you guys are the ultimate A-Team!
Definitely my favorite video you guys have put out so far! Love that truck! and that road trip certainly looked like one for the books! Nice job guys! I cant wait to see more of that truck!
That "little Toyota" at the start was a Triumph TR7. It was a great British sports car (and rally legend, driven by Sir Tony Pond). I wasn't aware that any roofed versions made it to the US (most sold there were convertibles). I think the US version had a 3.5 litre aluminium block Rover V8, but it may have had a 2 litre cast iron 8-valve I4 instead, just like the base-model British version. Another version had a 2 litre aluminium 16-valve I4 (called the Sprint engine, after the original car it came in, the Dolomite Sprint). In that configuration, the thing weighed about 800kg, so it handled extremely well and had great performance, though obviously the V8 ones were a bit faster off the line. I think a built Sprint engine will put out more power than a built Rover V8, thanks to being SOHC as opposed to OHV. The Rover V8 was derived from an earlier Buick design from the 60s that GM was not confident in, so they sold it to BMC. I think it would later inspire the development of the ubiquitous LS engine. Look up some rally videos of the TR7. It had success in the early 80s.
I love the look of that race truck. Hope to see it on here again in the near future. British Leyland made the Triumph TR7 and those cars fell apart with rust in the UK. My sister owned a bright yellow one and it was always in my panel shop being patched up. Yay!
Saw a few things. 1. Jeff is an expert at the digcals 2. Not sure how crazy the weather is but James was in a t shirt and Caroline had a hoodie and a carhart jacket on. 3. Didn't know how deep James car roots went. Everybody in his family has a shop!
what a bunch of babies affraid of a little possible snow hell I drive a topless golf cart as a mobility aid year round in Canada where we often get snowfall of feet over the course of a couple hours if it starts and can punch through or drive over the snowbank I take it or I don't eat until it does

The Toyota (sic), Triumph TR7/8 would have been a cool rescue project.

There were actually two hardtop TR7/8s in the intro. One was the sun bleached Russet Brown and the other a Java Green?

Thx for the comment. We had very questionable electrical systems and now windshield wipers. Just getting it home was a feet.
Isn't it 2023 now???
We bought the truck in January 2022 and rescued it in December 2022. Took a month to edit🤷🏽♂️. But, yeah! To answer your question. 😂🤙
