Watching your vid is great.....i used to spectate navigate service on rallies....to see someone down to earth and a funeral director too...(my partner is )....so i show interest in the that demanding but very rewarding job.....all the best and keep up the great results 👍

Great video once again Richard, after such a big weekend ! Shame about the DNF, what a slippery set of stages!! I did a 4.5km sprint in 28 degrees and lots of dust on Sunday, quite a contrast ! Look forward to your next instalment . Cheers from NZ

Evo 5 GP A car, yes we get 4 runs plus recce of a 4.5km Sprint for 90GBP entry. 28 entrants, fastest one time from your four runs counts . Look up Mt Alexander Sprint , in Canterbury NZ. @@Richard_Weaver .

Hi mate. There is now doubt that the R5 is superior to drive in every respect compared to the evo. In fairness, you can easily spend the same amount running and evo or an R5; its just a question of luck i think. Its the capital cost to buy that is the sting. But the driving experience is wonderful. The R5 is everything its is cracked up to be and more. A very rewarding car to drive.
Sadly didn’t see you around the service area at Donington as would’ve come and said hi, hopefully you’ll be back there in March

Out of curiosity what did you make of the donington layouts? Heard mixed opinions of various drivers saying ‘too much gravel for a tarmac car’ etc? As a spectator/photographer it was quite dramatic and probably some of the best layouts I’ve seen at a circuit event.
I’m happy on mixed surfaces. It’s a rally!! Keeps it interesting. I like technical and tricky stages/surfaces. Makes it interesting.

Your service crew do you pay them ? Wouldn't mind seeing some footage of them servicing the car on rally maybe strap a gopro on a mechanic ?

Haven’t got a gravel kit for it. I have done gravel in my escort. But never in a 4wd. Be good fun!
Id love to see that- i think if you got done gravel mileage under your belt then these sketchy conditions on tar would feel more manageable.
