I hadn't heard that, but if true, the price shouldn't be to much more, just inflation given Tesla took away some big ticket items. For example the ability to lower the back end and extend a telescopic ramp, the interior top light-bar, and 500 mile battery. Those were three of the five selling features for me which I can accept they no longer have, so long as they keep the price the same (plus inflation). Thanks for the info, cheers!

They will be able to use the Tesla charging network which makes them a truly viable option for those looking for an EV. I have a Tesla model S long range my 3rd Tesla and I am looking to evaluate other options before getting my next car. I like my Tesla but have been frustrated by a few things with it lately and I think the resale value on my model S is dropped due to the vast fluctuations of Tesla pricing. Right now I like the Polestar 4 which fully loaded all wheel drive comes in at the same price range as the Model S. I haven't done a deep dive but would love to get your opinion. Thanks
I'm a backer of testlogic, can't wait until it launches, but this is teslas fault for not giving more apps and stuff when it could, maybe in the future it will be, but as for now, it need at least android or apple car too.
That 168 stall Supercharger will be a great testbed for putting similar sites up elsewhere, along with scaled down versions that have say, 40 stalls which should help with demand as more non-Tesla EVs start to be able to use Superchargers as well.
As someone who 'rooted' android devices for years this is exciting. Not b/c I want to do it, but it shows what people want and will bring these features to stock Tesla software I think. I hope the demand is high enough for them to notice. Of course boot loop or bricking your car is an entire different level of consequences as opposed to your phone.
2 things… From finally seeing a cybertruck in person, damn it’s even fuglier 🤦🏻♂️ And secondly, I do hope that tesla eill find a way to block the use of that screenmate thingy. The first thing that will happen if this shit gets to market will be dumb people watching netflix or playing a game instead of keeping an eye out on the road.
The first week I had my Tesla, I modified the software a bit like playing movies while driving and uploading files. But during my nights sleeping in the car dedicated to hacking away, the car did the software update without updating to anything new. The next morning, the car's flaws were magically remediated. So now I have given up on circumventing the Tesla cause it happened twice so I'm assuming it's always gonna fix itself. Might have to save my possible theories when the time arises.
Great update Ryan! Exciting to see how sustainable the future will be with solar energy generation and storage as a primary energy for broad ev automotive expansion. This is very bullish on EV growth on the horizon.
I love my 22 S but only an idiot will invest in solar or battery from Tesla. Absolutely no customer service. NONE. No one to speak with and MONTHS of waiting to fix problems. Too many good brands with good customer service.
Does anyone know why all of a sudden while trying to order Powerwall 3 on the Tesla website, it is saying "We don't serve this area currently". Did something change at Tesla energy?
I think FSD transfer is a great way for Tesla to get off HW3 without alienating the customers. Exhibit A: myself. I transferred FSD which I got for $5000 in 2019 twice, first from 2019 Model 3 to 2023 Model Y and then to 2024 Model 3.
@@banderson1979 I didn't, but the FSD transfer is an additional incentive for those who have an older Tesla and thinking about the upgrade. There new line up of cars, the PoleStar 3 and 4 seem to be good options for EV buyers and they have also announced the Pole Star 5.
Can you play online multiplayer if you were to hook up a console with the hacker?
That 168 stall Supercharger will be a great testbed for putting similar sites up elsewhere, along with scaled down versions that have say, 40 stalls which should help with demand as more non-Tesla EVs start to be able to use Superchargers as well.
I'll definitely pass on the ChatGPT integration. I'll wait for Grok. 1,000%
why?
As someone who 'rooted' android devices for years this is exciting. Not b/c I want to do it, but it shows what people want and will bring these features to stock Tesla software I think. I hope the demand is high enough for them to notice. Of course boot loop or bricking your car is an entire different level of consequences as opposed to your phone.
2 things…
From finally seeing a cybertruck in person, damn it’s even fuglier 🤦🏻♂️
And secondly, I do hope that tesla eill find a way to block the use of that screenmate thingy. The first thing that will happen if this shit gets to market will be dumb people watching netflix or playing a game instead of keeping an eye out on the road.
Looks like we have a chat ai with us all the time. It’s on our phones already
Anyone looking to buy a Tesla before the tax credits go away, I have a link in my RUclips bio!
I wish you could choose which LLM you use since it's not local anyway. Using anything related to X just feels wrong.
yeah but will my wipers work better than a 1970s car? will AP stop alerting and flinching like a neurotic learner driver?
My Tesla can’t see in direct sun.
Stuff might happen!
Can I stack the $7500, $1000 referral code, and $1000 military discount?
Does anyone know why all of a sudden while trying to order Powerwall 3 on the Tesla website, it is saying "We don't serve this area currently". Did something change at Tesla energy?
It fired the ceo? If so I might finally buy one… 🎉
Why would anyone want any of the crap that you are waffling on about. Manufacturers love people like you, that will buy all their unnecessary rubbish
I think FSD transfer is a great way for Tesla to get off HW3 without alienating the customers. Exhibit A: myself. I transferred FSD which I got for $5000 in 2019 twice, first from 2019 Model 3 to 2023 Model Y and then to 2024 Model 3.
Guess you forgot how much new cars cost.
@@banderson1979 I didn't, but the FSD transfer is an additional incentive for those who have an older Tesla and thinking about the upgrade. Tesla enjoys the highest brand loyalty across all automotive brands and it's not unusual for Tesla owners to upgrade or buy an additional Tesla. FSD transfer is great fit for them.
And new onwer of your car does not have fsd now?
@alexeyturkremizov that's correct. Keep in mind that the new owner can buy fsd option back at any moment, because all the hardware is still there.
For years on long road trips with my Tesla I just folded the iPad folio above the main screen and I can’t do anything that you’ve just mentioned with the expensive solution that only works in a car but guess what the iPad works everywhere guys just use iPads. It’s so easy.
No. That is not integrated with the cars audio.
Wow, in this day and age I’d expect nothing less. Thanks for being the domiciled commentator
That Diesel guy demonstrated the back of the CT snapping with a 10000 lb load. Is that real?
Wasn’t that only after driving the CT off a ledge, with the rear taking the brunt of the fall? If so, a similar drop would likely have bent a steel hitch, possibly rendering it unusable.
Its "woking"?
😂
I hope it's not too "woking".
Did this guy buya. M3P and a CT like within a couple of months? Man YT pays pretty well I guess.
Does screenmate need or use jail break? as far as I can tell no. Looks like it is its own android sbc with essentially a hdmi in and out (using tesla connectors) to sit in line between the screen and mcu. No tesla code changes needed. Just like VCR use to do back in the day.
Disappointed in the poor factual accuracy here plus all the fear mongering based on an incorrect assumption.
Hello my friend , so beautiful car , I like!
If anyone need a referral let me know!
ChatGPT in Teslas? AI hallucinating on the freeway!!!🤔
I bet Tesla eager to do the same. At this point we all know Tesla is funky company. U can tell how they named their cars. S3XY
But regulations here in USA is really strictly and of course for the safety too. End of the day they will never exist if they don’t follow the regulations. There’s some recall took them forever to send out software update to fix it because isn’t they can’t. They just being stubborn and funky or wanted to challenge the regulators too. 😂
A Lawyers dream if you are in an accident with hacked Tesla software.
Cause lawyers constantly do configuration checks on car software?
@@Gurule Tesla's lawyers do in case of deadly accident with active autopilot
@VSPlum they would remotely. But if this hack is literally just redirecting the video and sending calls in the same way, I don't think they will be able to see it. (Now if they physically check the car that's a. Diff story)
happy to share my referral code :)
Teslogic is a russian company. They've changed their registration address to avoid sanctions and payment issues, but they're still russian company located in russia and they're sending their stuff through Armenia. Just a reminder for those who does care.
Not recommending this product AT ALL
As such.
Wait what? No this makes zero sense. Tesla was supposed to implement Grok as the "personality" of the car, not openai's crap AI...
Exactly I dont want WokeGPT in my Tesla 🖕that
Agree: I think it would be a significant improvement in the car’s functionality… 👍🏻
For one it’s a 3rd party solution and two chatgpt is great
@@paradigmshift7😂
I cant wait for better AI language model for tesla
Woking
Cool charging station… still no bathrooms.
Which require employees.
@ or Optimus 😉 … Seriously, though, how bad would it be to contract someone to clean the toilets? Or make a self-cleaning bathroom?
(Tim The Tool-man Taylor made a self-cleaning kitchen in the mid 90s)
I suppose the best option would be for another company to open a shop or restaurant with a bathroom next door for the travelers to visit.
