Can you suggest a felting needle? I have two bad cats that, despite my intensive training with stick and carrot, use my sofas like their scratching posts. I've heard that I can felt some of the less extensive damage back into place.
Yes! I have a felting needle by Clover that I like. The needle has barbs on it. Inserting the needle repeatedly helps the wool fiber (What's left on the couch - or you can add some wool roving) catch and mat down. So all felting needles are basically the same (in my limited experience) but the holder - because you're jabbing this needle over and over you need a holder - is what I'm recommending (and it comes with some felting needles). I bought mine on Amazon and if you look for "clover felting needle" you'll see it and some cheaper options that will probably work just as well.
That pointer made me smile😊
