    It is my duty to retell the stories and chronicles of the glorious Imperium of Mankind.
    Via voxlink and transmission I shall send my tales through the Warp in the hopes that the Imperium might hear of it's forgotten histories and Remember it's sacred past.
    For in the grim darkness of the far future there is only War.

      The funny thing is Fabius would join the imperium again if the emperor actually would ask him to come back and gave him permission to do whatever he wants because all he wants to do is “help” humanity. Of course it would never happen but theoretically it could.

    • @AveSicarius
      @AveSicarius 4 месяца назад +1

      The problem with Fabius is that he's still sworn to Slaanesh even if he denies it. His work will never be finished, never be enough, no matter how he thinks about it, unless he finds a way to escape the grasp of the Warp entirely.
      He's also totally a slave to his own ego and believes only he can save humanity by "perfecting" it, but again, this will never end. It's also why he gave Clonegrim away, not because the cloned Primarch would actually fall (instead Clonegrim seems absolutely horrified and intends to try and repent for what he has done) but because if anyone is going to save anything, it's going to be Bile. Though his thoughts on the 3rd Legion being beyond help also contributed to this.
      The "good" version of this in 40k is Belisarius Cawl (still incredibly egotistical but fully devoted to saving mankind no matter the cost and will absolutely work with Xenos he sees as useful to achieve this in spite of what the Imperium says) and this is a reflection of what Fabius might have become had he stayed loyal.
      To be fair to the Spider, the latest phase of New Men seems to hold some promise because they are effectively immune to the Warp through the introduction of Null Genes.

    "Oh please. Something people forget is that i too had my skill in tech. Give me time and necron stasis means nothing. I could kill you. Perhaps i will. Do you know why i do not?"
    "...you need me. For what?"
    "Well,you were able to clone me. However...i plan to burn the gods. And while im strong,my fire is a spark among trilions. i need your help, to turn that spark,into a inferno to drown the warp."
    Bile saw it. Sparks of golden and vibrant fire in were visible...bile hesitantly nodded.
    "...there are no gods."
    "Oh and i agree. The chaos gods are no divinitys. Only parasites. I plan to immolate and excise such things. Now. Are you with me? Or are you aganst me."

Fulgrim escaped and led the mutants in securing Biles ship. Bile as way of thanks, gave it to trazyn for his museum. This conversation kind of (the poster has embellished in the real chat)happened when the clone escaped from its room and started wandering the ship and the reason bile was nervous was cos the mutants that bile had created to be loyal to him, were following the clone and looking at it like astartes looked at the original fulgrim and he kept wanting to kill the clone but couldn't cos he was curious how great it would turn out, but when it ruled his ship like that. @@widdershins5383
      The problem with Horus is that his Soul is gone, either eradicated or dispersed so greatly that it cannot reform even with the Power's of Chaos behind it. Fulgrim effectively took in the shard of his Soul that had split when his original had ascended to Daemonhood (because becoming a Daemon Prince/Primarch isn't you just better, it's Chaos taking your body, ripping everything out, and filling it with their own substance so that you are simply an extension of them).
      That's why Clonegrim is important, because he has what the other's lacked, that Warp-borne spark the Emperor imbued them with (possibly being from some coalesced Warp Entities of Order or some such), and this is also why Bile claims they are touched by the Warp.
      A Primarch without this spark is still a biological supercomputer in a superlative Transhuman form (the clone of Horus still ripped apart a whole bunch of Black Legion warrior's with basically no effort) but it's not got that inhuman charisma and otherworldly power the Primarch's have (e.g. if you cloned Corvus Corax that clone probably wouldn't be able to become a giant crow daemon thing).
      It's also why Bile gave Clonegrim away, in part because he was frightened that it would just do the same things again due to be intrinsically tied to the Warp, but mostly because Clonegrim actually held real power over the remnants of the 3rd Legion (including Bile himself), and Bile won't brook anyone above him.

    • @AveSicarius
      @AveSicarius 4 месяца назад

      He's had thousands of years to work it out, and given how time flows differently in the Warp, that could very well be far longer than people realize. Not only that but he's managed to steal both original material AND also some of every one of the Emperor's other creations (including Custodes which are apparently based in the Emperor's own genome).
      Also he learned from the Drukhari who are actively attempting to clone the Emperor. It would be strange if Bile, despite being an utter genius rivaled by a very few, couldn't clone a Primarch given that much time, even with the limited resources at his disposal. If he was in the Imperium working with Cawl they might have made something superior to a Primarch, at least physically, by now.

    Giving Bile the intellect and ability to mimic what the Emperor did will always be a misstep to me in order to find a way to progress certain events and legions. For as much time and effort it took the Emperor, he was able to do it in a relatively short amount of time in comparison. I wonder if GamesWorkshop ever considered this didn't make sense. Also how Bile is the only one of his Legion to not fall to Slaanesh when it seemed the weakness of Fulgrim's character trait/chosen by Slaanesh long ago that he avoided it. All flaws of character make up the Chaos Gods, so he would have fallen to the mighty peacock at the least. Chaos gets too much plot armor to keep them on even ground with the Emperium.

    • @NecronManus
      @NecronManus 4 месяца назад

      My only reasoning might be because Bile still works with chaos regardless. It’s not surprising considering Perteruabo and it’s not like chaos wouldn’t get future opportunities to corrupt Bile?

    • @blumiu2426
      @blumiu2426 4 месяца назад +1

      @@NecronManus And that's the thing. He still is in effect, enacting Chaos's will, not his own, whether he personally claims to or not. How many characters have done the same and found they were anyway and Chaos didn't need a proclamation or in a dire moment, needed their power in the end, usually Chaos waiting for just that moment for twisted satisfaction.
      Perteruabo too is one I take issue with as his envy, jealousy and pride make him prime candidate to be mentally weak enough to fall, if not one of the first to have. It's as if, to me, GW doesn't get psychology or the very least, vices people fall prey to often and the hardest to let go. We see the Loyalist legions have their flaws that allow them to be manipulated and fall to Chaos, no matter how resistant that chapter is if not a Grey Knight or Custodes. It makes little sense for anyone that sided with Chaos to resist on anime level tenacity because they don't want to ruled over when already ruled by their vice. It's bad writing that hinges entirely on situational need.

      They needed a way for the chaos marines to have a lot of recruits, so yeah but the first of the perfect primarch clones was am accident. Biles lab was destroyed by the drukhari (or was it Abaddon that destroyed that lab?)but when he went back the baby fulgrim clone still lived in its stasis chamber. He checked it's vitals and DNA and saw it was perfect, so kept it. The Horus clone was weak and dumb and Abaddon killed it easily but the fulgrim one somehow turned out perfect, Bile was amazed cos it had been lying there for years and should have died and as it grew it had fulgrims charisma too. So Bile failed over and over and then finally made a perfect clone by mistake

    • @blumiu2426
      @blumiu2426 4 месяца назад

      @@lucianfrostbane He doesn't have to. They still are that world's gods, and there are different kinds of gods in fiction. Mostly the type used are low-level, but still beyond humans. Chaos gods are slightly above that, but constrained to be creations of mortals, thus their weakness. They are omnipotent, which makes them a threat and beyond Bile to resist as he is human and always under their sway. They see him likely as less than a parasite, but he is still serving a purpose.
      The only thing is if Bile is actually doing something that will benefit humanity ie: The Emperor and Chaos gods do/did nothing about it. Again, the writing for the lore is all over the place and only works it's best in the human war conflicts or certain Astartes conflicts.

    He should be named Fabius Vine, as in fabulous wine (Slaanesh).
    (Even if Primarch clone stories cause a lot of mess)
    Is it true that he is actually a secret puppet of the Dark Prince?
    For all his genius, when Fabius looked up into the abyss that was Slaanesh, he made a terrible mistake never to be made (especially with the Dark Prince), and one that the Silver Knight will make too: he blinked .

    Fabius can be rather symphatetic with his goals and rejection of chaos worship, but he may be making the same mistake as others who thought they were using chaos, but in the were used by chaos. He is correct about the gods, but even with protection the warp corrupts and Fabius has spent a lot of time within the eye of terror unprotected and unshielded. It's like a river carving out a great canyon, no matter how strong the rock is given long enough time the rushing water will be victorious. This is why Fabius cannot be trusted no matter how well he argues for his case.

    Does anyone believe that the reason Fabius Bile gave the Fulgrim clone to Trazyn, was because he would only make the same mistakes as the original. Or maybe it was the clone simply outshining it's progenitor and Bile only used that excuse as justification?
