When I was 18 years old, I was a salesman for a store that sold high end fireplaces and propane grills. We had a very nice grill that that retailed for 3,500 dollars... I tried to sell it to a wealthy customer and after I went over all the features, the man said to me, "its a nice grill but i can buy a brand new grill that does the exact same thing every year from walmart for the rest of my life and still not spend 3500 dollars." I think about that everytime that im going to make a purchase, including watches.

I just bought a blue face one with the steel and gold band and gold around the rim. Arrives Monday but looks gorgeous online. I’m very excited. They get amazing reviews on YT and on Amazon. I think the quality for the price is just hard to beat. Bought a quartz one for $38. That’s almost a cheap disposable watch price wise. I know it’s not a Rolex and it’s just a copy cat, but the fact that they even look similar is incredible.
I mostly want it just for fashion. As I don’t dress up too fancy these days. Would be nice to have a nice looking watch to go with a nice outfit or two. That and if it looks as good as it does on these videos online I may buy 3-7 of these just for B-roll footage whenever I need to test out a new lens or camera.
I will probably never be able to afford a real Rolex, unless amc short squeezes again (which it might) but if I can get a good looking watch that looks good and imitates it pretty well for $38-100 or so I’m definitely seriously interested. Since I mostly care about it for fashion and looking nice i really don’t care about the price or the name brand. In fact I’d probably be scared to wear it so it doesn’t get stolen or damaged. This I can wear, enjoy and be comfortable. Can’t wait until it gets here in a few days!
You will love it they are really good watches for the price and actually keep good time. Like you said fashion wise you just cannot beat them I am like you I am not sure I would even be comfortable wearing a Rolex where this one I wear it every day still looks great and if breaks I can just order another one since they are so reasonable in price enjoy !!

I hate the cheap tools that came with it. Had to resize it. One pin broke and one two got bent. One got stuck. Lucky the 3rd pin held together and was able to just take off a second link. Pretty snug but it fits. Highly recommend just buying some watch tools elsewhere bc the included ones were a piece of crap, for me at least

Bought one for like 30 bucks a year back and it was a daily for about 6 months, still wear it solid quality, SLEEPER!😂💯
I have four of them now 2 quarts and two mechanical. The one I like the best is gold rose gold with a blue face and a brown leather band. Are they very classy look at watch but I got a white it every other day because the automatic water does not work apparently, but the watches look good. They keep good time and I got a wind a big deal. I’ll buy another one if whatever comes up that I like.
I have 5 of them myself I love them they are great watches I think my favorite right now is the black silver and gold but I like them all.

Nothing has been reviewed. Does it keep time accuracy over a week? a month? What is the real water resistance of this watch? Beside telling us that you like this "Black and Gold" you did not say much.
Thanks for your feedback! At the time I made the video, I hadn’t had the watch long enough to comment on long-term accuracy. Now, after wearing it for a while, I can confirm that it keeps time well. I usually wear it for a few days at a time, and than swap with another one of my watches but I haven’t noticed any need for adjustments during the periods I wear it. As for water resistance, I’ve only tested it under basic conditions-splashes and wearing it in the shower-and it has held up just fine. And yes, I love the black and gold design! Most of my watches are for fashion, and that’s what I wanted to highlight in the video.
I just bought an Olevs. Looks nothing like a Rolex. At first glance it's attractive, but when you start taking a close look at it. You see all of the flaws. My glass "crystal" is horrible. It is full of air bubbles and other imperfections. It's good for what it is, a cheap everyday watch.
It's the 3 feet rule it looks good from there but true yes at close inspection it's not a 10k watch but they do keep good time and look great for what they are...
@@TheElectronMan Yeah, I was going to say that. It looks good from a distance or if you don't really examine it up close. I've got the quartz version, so it only cost $40. It's attractive for what it is. We'll see how long it holds up.

You should take it in to a real watch shop and ask to compare it to the real Rolex! You will learn a lot!

While Rolex watches are beautiful and excellent quality the value of the watch is realistically 500 dollars. you are paying 19,500.00 dollars for the the name Rolex

I have one mechanical watch of this brand with rolex daytona looks. But i dont think its made from stainless steel, when i see on its lug hole... The crome was peeling....
So how accurate is it? That's kinda important. Also when you opened it, the dials seemed misaligned. That's a common complaint.
I never noticed but I just checked and mine are straight if that helps.

Sorry I do the best I can I have a 5 year old go-pro camera and 60 year old hands holding it I do usually mount it for part of the review so you can get a steady shot..
