Hi Dan, just a post to answer your question about your channel and the content you provide. My wife and I bought our first caravan in September 2019. Your channel has been a superb source of inspiration and information since our first steps into caravanning. We both thoroughly enjoy and look forward to anything you provide on the channel whatever the theme or content you air. Please continue whatever format works for you as we will always tune in. All the best, Steve and Margaret Finch.
Hi Dan. I subscribe to a few caravan channels and I have to say that your approach, content and character are by far and away the most professional, informative and entertaining with Mac & Sarah a very close second! I'm very concious that producing these videos takes up a great deal of your time. With that in mind, I think your monthly update model makes it natural progression for you to follow it with a monthly Q&A model, rather than weekly. Whatever you decide, keep up the great work.
Love ALL your output... your channel is my first go to place when we are challenged with something related to our van or something we want to do to it.. We've also loved your reports on trips you make.... and got the confidence to try off grid and places we might not have otherwise visited. The only thing I've still to get my other half interested in is getting a dog!! Lol. Thanks for all you do.
I enjoy the Q&A’s. Perhaps do one session a month. I enjoy your trips the most as it’s a good resource for identifying new sites, areas to visit. I actually miss the good old days when you used to video trips away with fellow RUclipsrs like the Morley’s etc. Keep up the good work!
I would really like the Q&As to continue please, perhaps space them according to topics. I very much enjoy your trips. It’s nice to have the mix along with your knowledgeable tips on how to do things.
Hi Dan, we are away at the moment in our new 8 foot wide van! Weather is atrocious but hey who cares? As to towing an 8 foot van as you may agree it’s no big deal, this is our 6th van and it doesn’t seem to make any difference! Happy days 👍👍👍
Hi Dan, 3yrs ago I turned to RUclips for a caravan related issue. You had done a video about it and it helped me tremendously. I’m becoming a seasonal professional now 🙈 but I still love to watch your content. Lots of good tips and tricks. I can’t sit here and give you advice but on that note keep up the good work 👏🏻👍🏻
Hi Dan. I only subscribe to your caravan channel, it has provided me with everything I've needed since I bought my first van in 2019. Personally, I like the day to day jobs you've shown like cleaning, little repairs, good tips, setup, my favourite of a sanity cup of tea! I don't tend to watch your videos when it involves a product I'm either not interested feted in or is out of our budget and I also dont watch many of the holiday videos, but this doesn't mean I do t keep my subscription. Hope all is well, wish I'd known you were in Brecon as I'm about 30 mins away, I would have accidently driven past to see if I could spot you!!!
Hi Dan, another great video 👍 we totally echo what you say, we loved spending time with you and Angela and Dozer had a wonderful time with Chops, his new bff 😊 can't wait to do it again! In terms of content, specifically Q&A, we really enjoyed them but weekly must be a lot to do in terms of filming and editing especially with other great content to produce. Maybe monthly? All the best to you both, see you soon 👍
Hi Dan. We have a Swift 645 with a roof mounted solar panel. Recently we’ve noticed that the battery is not holding a charge - so can you show us the process for replacing them. Is it a professional installation or can we do it ourselves? Cheers and Thankyou.
We love the Q&A Wednesday feature, it is very interesting to hear others people’s questions and queries, and to compare our responses with yours! The direction you’ve take. The channel this year is spot on, we both really like the varied approach! On the back of your visit to Cirencester we have booked a long weekend there ourselves. Thanks Dan (and Angela) for the great content, we love it when we see the next Trudgians video on our feed! Simon and Sarah
Dan, can I say thank you so much Our toilet would not work, my husband looked at your blogs, found what he wanted, followed your advice and it works You are brilliant 🤩
Love your videos they've helped me a lot with us being caravan newbies! We were at Blackpool CAMC site at the weekend, wind was pretty bad (thought the awning was going to become a caravan blanket at one point) and I'm new to towing, on Sunday heading back with 25-35mph side winds on the m55 was an experience! We bought our first van in November and collected it at the start of december, was only the 9th time I've towed. Luckily once we got on the M6 the wind was less and also from behind!!
Firstly I love your Q&A Wednesdays. I do look forward to them. This is our first year with a van and the amount of vlogs from you I have watched is outstanding. All to do with what to do, how to do it etc. Priceless. I'm the type who has to research, research and then research some more before I dive in. We have bought a 8' van as our first. So I don't know what a single axle van is like to tow and what the comparisons are. Really looking forward to your vlog on that. I did take a course before I dived in. ;) Keep the Q&A's even if you go to 1 a month but I prefer every week. Take care. Mossy & JM.
Hi Dan & Angela We enjoy ALL of your content, always have right from the beginning and even have a new word in our vocabulary now which we often use and that’s gopping 😂😂😂 ( thanks 🤩) You will never ever please everyone, we just enjoy watching whatever you produce and to think people moan makes me feel rather cross. You like other vloggers go out of your way to entertain us and inform us and we very much appreciate it xx
Appreciate all your content. I'd just say post what YOU enjoy otherwise it becomes a chore and not an enjoyable pastime. Looking forward to the van tour as let's be honest we're all nosy!😂
Well - I like all your content , primarily subscribed a couple of years ago when we were new to caravanning - how to videos are always welcome. Enjoy the Q&A and the holiday videos as well. I think continue with the mix and match.
We love the Q&As... it's really interesting to see the questions people ask and really helpful... whether they're questions we may "think" we already know the answer to it's always good to here another point of view... cheers 👍
Hi Dan , have to say you really have got away from were you started with this channel, you shown us how to fix things and done recommendations for things, but now you have a new caravan that has went out the window, there is those of us that caravan on a budget that can’t afford a new van , so we fix and repair our vans the best we can , and to great extent that is were we get the most joy , so don’t forget us that can’t afford these flash vans
Hi Dan & Angela I really really enjoyed the Brecon Beacon's it was fabulous what you showed us. Not COMING from the UK. IT amaze's me what stunning scenery you have. I enjoy what ever you bring out. Cheers. ( you do have to have some private time with your friend's & by yourself/ Family so I understand exactly what you said.😊
Hi Dan, I'm really looking forward to your content from Lowdhams. Despite living in Chippenham at the time thats where we purchased our new Hi Style X835 from in 2021 and they really couldn't have been more helpful. Please do continue with the q&a's, perhaps once a month.
Hello Dan, thanks for the update, interesting as ever. I personally would love the Q&A's to continue, in any format or frequency that suits you, I am just grateful that you use your own time in this way! I had noticed the variety of themes in your productions this year and enjoy every one, thank you and long may you continue!
Hi Dan, All areas of your content is so helpful and enjoyable. I have only been caravanning 18 months and your channel has been the go to by me and my wife when ever we have needed help or advise on something. I do also have a question...... When ever I come to the end of a trip and try to take the hitch off it's always stuck on and I have to get in my truck back up ever so slightly and then it comes off, am I in need of new friction pads? Keep up the good work. Thanks Mark
Another great video, Dan. I think the Q&A and the updates are great and will continue to watch for as long as people are asking decent questions (I did send you one over on Instagram ;)) and for as long as you've got updates. What ever you do though I'd suggest don't burn yourself out, keep it sustainable for you so your enthusiasm for the channel and the hobby remains at a high, because you've got a real spring in your step at the moment and it's why the videos are great to watch. ^Andrew
Hi Dan I love the question & answer posts as you get so much information from them. Also love the site visits. Always great to get an informed opinion. What ever you decide, is good with me. As I think your channel is great.
Hi Dan, I personally always enjoy of your “journey” videos with feedback on the various sites you visit although to be fair we always want a fully serviced pitch as we use our on board shower etc which would fill a waste barrel every day. You appear to be happier with standard facilities and possibly enjoy a much wider choice of locations but I couldn’t see the point of investing in a fully equipped spacious van only to still use communal shower blocks? On balance I find the technical questions of more interest. Your answers are always well researched and well presented and I have learnt much from you since our introduction to caravanning a few years ago. On this point I have often wondered why caravans don’t come with the same fixed/extending entry steps that seem to be standard issue on motorhomes. Possibly something to do with absence of a suitable mounting location on most caravans or from motor movers being in the way or just a lack of popular interest but to me it seems a no brainer if it’s actually possible? Has this ever crossed your desk previously and if so did you reach a conclusion? Keep up the good work mate. Regards Michael
Hi Dan, I would say go with your instinct, I enjoy most of your content, no almost all of your content, many others go off track and we loose interest. Great content keep it going. Rob.
Hi Dan, why do you use a washing up bowl in the sink? We just use the sink. Is it an English thing? To us in New Zealand it seems a strange thing to do.
My husband goes straight to your channel to find how to..... I go straight to your channel because of the notification button so I don't miss any of your vidoes We both enjoy your videos, your expertise and your travels so please keep it up!
We happen to have the same van as you... new to twin as we are.... biggest challenge so far.... lining up the wheels for both alko locks... which also means challenged levelling it too. Currently have Milenko levelling stack but they are soooo heavy. Thinking about the the air mat type... can't remember the name... So, up to you, Q & A on this OR we will await a content video. We cant get away again until June. Will let you know what we try next, if anything. There was nearly a divorce on the levelling up!! lol. Thanks.
Love you professional vlog content so much - you’re one of our fave you tubers. How about Q&A once a month or every couple of months? Love the rest of your content too much ha ha!
Hi, only dip in and out of you tube occasionally but you are the first port of call for a problem. Hadn't realised you was on fb and insta as well so now subscribed.
I love your channel I watch your holiday videos a lot I love seeing you getting ready to go and sometimes forgetting the zebra pot 😊 Maybe do the Q&A once a month, it would be lovely to see you do basic videos again like hitching up etc but with a newer caravan we have the Porto, and finding what all the buttons do was tricky. I have also noticed there isn’t any good videos showing how to put up a Isabella awning, that might be a good video. I just love the holiday videos you are both very natural on camera
Love the Q&A please continue the thumbnails listing dound a good idea too. Your video's have been such a help your description and step by step instructions are brilliant some of us are total beginners and need idiot steps.😂
All your stuff is great Dan personally happy with whatever you want to roll with. However I do see hundreds of questions from caravanners of all experience levels on several faceBook groups so maybe you could do it Q&A articles "on demand" so its included when you have lots of questions in the piggy bank and skip when there isnt??? Anyway keep up the good work mate.
Hi Dan for us any content you and the wife provide is welcome if its not relevant at first then we say arh thats a good idea or thats a nice site or i didnt think of that so keep up what you do as people will always look to the legend for adivce 😊

Great update. We are new to caravan Vlogging, and agree it hard to find content that viewers will find different and interesting. Our first video goes live tonight on Wookies at Tour, so any constructive criticism would be gratefully appreciated. Oh, and we also love watching Mac and Sarah’s vlogs, that’s where we heard about your channel too…
Great video, good update. I'm enjoying all the content, think the variety keeps thing fresh. Think keeping the Q&A videos going is a good idea, as a quick and easy way to cover multiple topics in 1 video.

Our first caravan, a late 1970's model, did have a pull out step. But that had a solid T&G wood floor for it to be fixed to.
Hi Dan I am waiting for a look round the new Evora and how it tows ect
Personally I just watch every video you put out 🤷..and have since you started, thank you for your time and knowledge take care 😊

big enough bed was exactly the problem i had, they seem to be very scarce
As the Q&A goes out on a Wednesday there is no reason not to keep it. By just answering three or four questions at a time it’s a nice short video and if we can ask anything we like should keep it interesting.
So, when are you going to come up our way and see us mate? Sal would love to meet you both. Or maybe we'll come to you. Update video is a great idea 💡
I'd suggest going the Q&A video's sporadically for the same reasons you set out in the start of the video.
Yes
Hi Dan please continue with the q & a monthly
I like the Q&A and would like to see more of them. However if your trying to vary your content, may just do it once a month.
Dan I like your Q and As but can like magazines get the same topic so I think first Wednesday in every month would be best BUT keep all your good work up please.
Please continue q&a
Temporal logistics appreciated enjoying the spectrum of content and yes I know it’s graft which is why me and the wife don’t RUclips - QnA I’m 50/50 fond a friend etc for myself as a northerner I enjoy the trip vids
I'd prefer you not to burn out with weekly Q&A's or pressure to deliver specific content monthly. Please balance the content to help it be manageable and sustainable.
