My friend bought the washer and the dryer. She let me use it, I was scared at first. It was 900 US. Compact, smaller load than regular one here is Whirlpool. Very quiet too! I even did my clothes I loved it.

So a direct question. If you had $900 what brand of front loading washing machine would you buy for overall reliability, ease of use and importantly serviceability (i.e. can be repaired, parts are available, parts are affordable)?

I got a series 4 Model only had it just over a month looks very similar to the one on the left in the video. I love it does what its supposed to do. Everyone who I know has a Bosch has not had any trouble or issues with them for years… haven’t met a faulty Bosch yet? I think they’re pretty good machines.

The trouble I think with extended warrantees is that I feel a new machine is very unlikely to break down within the warrantee period. More likely to break down after. You'd need the warrantee to extend to about 10 years to make it worth while.
extended warranty will save you from expensive call out fee. extended warranty usually costs $150-200 which is about equal to a call out fee
Also, don't overload! Overloading shortens lifespan (a lot!)

Lg direct drive is better. More durable. LG dries better too

Yes, and even a few series 6 models are made in germany. But they all have stainless Steel tubs.
