They fill their bellies in the afternoon and have sleep to avoid hot sunshine in the afternoons. This is known as a Siesta. It makes sence that they have light Tapas meal late in the day before going to bed

the lloret beach will be repaired. probably happens every year. It is an artificial beach that's why it's course sand to stop it being washed away. I've seen parts of it washed away with rain and it is quite rough seas at times. but tourism needs a nice beach especially at peak season.

You’ll love Barca. Get yourselves down Las Ramblas the little food market, the then port. It’s just great. Keep an eye on the gypsy pick pocketers, watch how they whistle to others pick pocketers letting them know someone is on their way. Great to watch.

I went to Lloret De Mar a few years back. Some lovely gardens and beaches further up the road from the main beach. Beautiful walks.

I worked in travel 12 years ago, and my first educational was to that coast in 1988 i was 16. It was with a company called Sunrider holidays by coach which took 28 hours. There long gone now, unfortunately . Brilliant vlog Lisa, Mark, and little Chico ❤

Have you been to malgrat, my brother nearly drowned there when he was young , due to drop just a little way into the water. My dad ran out and pilled him out. Thank goodness. You would never see it until you found it in the water.

We use to go to the orient express 20 years ago, the food was always fantastic. We returned 2 years ago in the van (march) and it was also shut. We were gutted.

I do remember CLEOPATRAS NIGHTCLUB in Blanes . My friend & i got stuck in a lift towards a midnight swim and got rescued 8hrs later with fire brigade & worried parents. Dehydration & clostrophobia was alot to get over after that.

Dont you have your main meal in the evening? We in south west call lunchtime and dinner. Tea is a separate thing. The meat on the pork legs are lovely. If you go to a celebration in Spain then they have those hams. Buses take people from the outside villages into the towns and they run into the night to take them back home, not like UK where most people living in outside villages cant get home from towns in evening by buses. Glad you're having good time.

😊We drove down from South Yorkshire to Lloret in July 1976 in a VW camper and stayed 4 weeks before moving on. We ran out of money and got jobs in a bar on the front, they wanted someone who could speak English to try and attract customers in. Happy days and memories

I think they had a big crackdown on electric bikes in Benidorm? I know there were loads of rental places about 15 years ago for mobility scooters and bikes of all sorts. I rode some scary unicycle along the front and a policeman waved me to slow down a bit. The next time we went was about 6 years ago and we only saw organised segway/scooter tours. I rented a mobility scooter for my wife and had to tell them what medical reason she needed it for.
