Hope Mark is okay after his accident on the scooter. Those mosquito bites look sore, I got some cream to stop the itching when I was in Portugal, so maybe a visit to the pharmacy will help. Love to you both and of course Chicco xx

Just watched your vlog and it made me chuckle throughout 😂 Portugal looks beautiful from what you've shown so far and the food looks good and value for money. Mark needs a full on bodysuit of armour to protect himself from himself 😂😂😂 Even though I laugh I'm a bit like him , accident prone😁 loved the drone footage again really pretty and breath taking views. Great video as always👍🍷 Here in Spain we also see many old abandoned houses with new buildings constructed next to them. I was told by the locals that this happens alot because usually 3,4,5 sons/daughters inherited the house and between them they never reach an agreement to either sell it or fix it up. By the way, here in Spain we are still having 37-39 degrees every day, that´s in the bottom half of Spain, and it looks to continue like this for the next week or so... Looking forward to your next video,👍🍷

Another great video, a mate of mine used that silver radiator reflector from Wickes and used that on his motorhome and cut the reflector to size,he reckons works a treat.stay safe

Thankyou for giving us a good insight and ideas for our trip to Portugal over winter. The statues were found stored in a council warehouse and no one knew the history so they where cleaned and put on display. If you google them you will get the full story. Happy travels from The Flying Baguette

Oh Mark. What can we say. Back to Portugal. Its a beautiful country. Very different from Spain. We were there all January in Faro and north in May. Lots of aires. So many wonderful towns and villages. All so pretty. Take care.

Agree it is like it every year ,same in southern spain ,the north is always drastically cooler ,be great to see the more southern and mid spanish coasts there is such long stretches of Costas all the way up to the north strangely never seen much on you tube Chanel's though ,hope mark recovers soon

Great video as usual. When my husband and me were stationed in Puerto Rico we knew the new arrivals by their white legs and and scratched mosquito bites. Avon skin so soft helps stop bites and not so smelly as deet.

The stone pavements in patterns are called calçada. They do get polished by people walking on them and they are even more slippy when it rains. There are a lot of oranges grown in the Algarve but in the winter they fill the machines with Pomegranates instead of oranges. It was an octopus.
The abandoned property thing is mostly due to Portuguese inheritance law, so basically a house gets split between the kids, and then their kids etc: So there can be multiple people who own a share. People often immigrate or there is a dispute about selling or not selling and the value is in the land not really the house so no one maintains them. Most of the old houses do not have the conditions we are used to now and its cheaper to knock them down and build something new rather than try to refurbish them.

Great video hope Mark is ok looking forward to Spain. Give your motorhome a blast of fly / mosquito spray as you leave to go out in the evening, you / Chico will not breath it in, no insects when you return. Spray blinds an under bed. Works every time.

Ice cubes wrapped in a tissue and hold over the mosquito bites works better than all the creams that they sell for insect bites. Believe me as over the years I have used this method to stop the itching.
