He had probably already ruined his life doing something else, and the traffic stop just solidified that, so he decided to open fire. That's legit the only logical reason I can come up with that he tried to kill these cops over a damn traffic stop. Unless he's just prejudiced against cops in general. In either case it's his own damn fault. Just glad it was him that caught the bullet instead of the officers who were just doing their jobs.

I hear some people in the comments saying that the guy intentionally self deleted due to mental issues and yeah this is a possibility, especially when you consider that dude definitely seemed off. On the other hand, very few criminals understand basic firearm safety so it’s also possible that he had his finger on the trigger, added a little too much pressure and yeah gone. When I was a brand new EMT I worked at the trauma center in Baltimore. We had a guy that I would have love to seen the video of but this was close to 30 years ago. 18 year old robbed a guy for his wallet. The man gave his wallet up with no fight. Robber decides to shoot him anyway. His shot missed, struck a light pole and ricocheted into his neck. Didn’t kill him but paralyzed him from the neck down. Talk about instant justice being served

It's terribly sad to see this dude be in so much distress that even the cop noticed and wanted to help him. He didn't accidently shoot himself. From the dash cam you can tell he did it on purpose. I don't know this guy's story, but It's unfortunate that life cornered him so hard that in that moment he believed killing himself was the only thing left to do. It's pathetic to see all these other comments say "Good job" when it's not. It's just a sad situation with no winners.

There was a state trooper shot yesterday in coal city, wv during a traffic stop. The suspect somehow got away for a little while cause my entire neighborhood was shut down for a few hours. He was then later deleted trying to enter a home nearby. I hope you cover that story if you can find it.

I got stopped by CHP while walking south on I5 at night. I was calm, respectful, cooperative. Even though I was carrying a pistol without my CCL, we discussed it, got a ride back to my truck where I produced my CCL, my DL.

Book was great
Fun fact about WWZ. The author actually didn't hate it. He said he actually enjoyed it because rather than having to watch a director's interpretation of his book it was more like watching a completely unrelated movie with the same name. So he just got to watch a fun zombie movie rather than making comparisons.
If he got royalties for it he probably just liked those and the increase in book sales bringing in more money. Also probably learned from how other authors have been attacked for daring to say they didn't like it when their work was bastardised. I'm sure you know that fans who enjoy the films don't think writers have any right to their creative works.
I bought the book because of the movie. So I’m pretty sure it worked out the way he wanted it to.

A good self offing story from a long time ago-
Guy comes into the store with a nylon over his face and a cocked revolver in his hand, demands all the money. The clerk hands all the money over, the guy runs out the store, down the street and into an alley.
About a minute later they hear a shot.
Cops arrive, then go down the alley to find the guy dead behind a dumpster, nylon still on, gun in his hand, and a hole in the side of his head.
They theorized, and it sounds totally plausible if you think about it, that the guy hid behind the dumpster to take off the nylon so he could escape undetected. He tried to remove the mask by hooking his thumb under the edge and peeling it over his head, but it got caught under his chin, which was why he still had it on after his death.
So how'd he die?
He used the thumb of his right hand, which had a COCKED revolver in it, and his finger was on the trigger.
When the nylon snagged it caused his hand to roll, and his trigger finger hit the side of his head and squeezed the trigger.
Darwin award.
Oddly enough as soon as I read "they heard a shot" but before reading what their theory was 2 things came to mind. 1: dude tripped in the alley shooting himself in the process, 2: guy shot himself while taking the nylon off because he still had the gun in his hand.
Reminds me of the dude who shot himself robbing either a bank or a store, don't remember which but this one is on video so we know what happened. Dude at the counter didn't put up a fight at all and started handing him the money which the robber happily grabbed with his gun hand. The gun went off, shot the clerk (Who lived) then while struggling to grip it the gun went off again while conveniently pointed at dip shit robber's head.
Nice try. The cops ended him because he robbed mafia. 😂
@@tgsachris Another one was a guy that robbed a bank with a set of nunchaku. The clerk gave him all the money and before the guy left he thought he'd show off his skills, and proceeded to knock himself out with his own nunchaku.

5 out of the 6 traffic stops, the cops were this cool. The 6th, well, the 6th had the attitude that makes people hate cops. Fortunately, I had the 5 prior encounters with good officers.

You're just learning this now?! 😮 In the 70s the police delivered meals to my stepfather who was camped out to protect his business during the Chicago race riots. People shot at my stepfather and threw fire bombs onto the roof of his business. And police brought him food and water so he could continue to protect his business. "Most" police are the real deal, actual brave people risking their own lives to protect society. My stepfathers business survived btw.
I give mad respect to all 3, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and police.
They do got alot of their plate, so that's why the ones that go out of their way to not do their job, or do it worse, should be a crime.
Nurses that end peoples lives, firefighters that start fires, and police that abuse their power. Simple, same with teachers, guidance counselors. Just because they thought i was well off, I literally was poor as hell, and they wouldn't give me bus tickets and free lunch to come to school everyday, because i already missed too many days? how does that make sense. I will if you provide me ability. (AND exams where near the end so I could still pass easy, like these people ruined some classes for me.) All those donations to feed the poor, is pretty useless, unless to actual food banks. My family got abit from that when needed.

It is so strange. I have been pulled over by the police a dozen times in my life. Always nice and respectful to them and have NEVER had a problem. 50/50 on getting let go with a warning and even when I have gotten a ticket, they have cut me huge breaks. Last month was pulled over going 110 outside of Vegas. Cop was super cool and we talked about how much of an asshole I was driving and we both laughed that I didn't even wait for him to hit his lights. I just pulled over when I passed him on the side of the road. He then gave me a ticket for going 10 miles over the speed limit. Some advice people, just let the cop do his job and feel safe doing it. They don't like having to give you a ticket either. It's their job.
I've probably been pulled over 8-10 times as well, and all of them have been nice and respectful. Never gotten a single ticket, even the one time I was 25 over the limit with an inspection almost a year out of date.
It really is as simple as minding your yes sirs and no sirs and doing as they say.

Dude, you nailed it. Get them to laugh and you're golden. Just like the stand up comedian "Fluffy" says. I passed 9 cars on a two lane road (in a passing zone at least) and achieved around 140mph during the pass. Wellll there was NCSHP about 4 cars behind me when I did that. Didn't even notice. He eventually caught up to me about 3 miles later after he got by everyone. I simply asked "Exactly how long have you been back there?" he goes "Long enough to see the most cars passed in my time driving". I go "Sweet, this is a high score award...right!? RIGHT!?". Ended up just getting a verbal warning, talking about what's done to the car, and some good banter.
I think there's a major key to all of it though. I, like yourself, are aware of our decisions and aware of the potential consequences. It's no different than being asked to pay for your choices at the grocery store. However, there are multitudes of monumentally stupid people who speed or whatever else and then somehow blame the cop for their consequences. Like the officer was there forcing them to speed by mind control or some shit. They call them road pirates, thieves, etc. It's seriously the dumbest shit. No, they are not robbing...they are enforcing. Even if you always go 5 over, you'll pretty much never have a single issue. But you know what they say about the general public......
