How those officers refrained from laughing when Kevin was screaming is amazing. I would have been laughing so hard, someone else would have had to put the cuffs on him.
Probably because they know that in this day and age, people like this actually get settlement money. There’s nothing funny about this. If he files a complaint, the officers can be placed on desk duty until the investigation concludes. If the chief is a lowlife scumbag, he can use this to persecute the officers.

Jail is fun, prison can be hectic. It's amazing seeing the same people from jail to prison and from prison to prison... I've worked 5 different prison units and at 1 jail/federal holding facility, currently back at TDCJ.

As someone that went to jail for a week in Medina Ohio, even inside the jail it’s like ONE asshole per holding area that acts like this most other people are that sobered up uncle that did something stupid and have to hold over for a while in jail and also hate people like this.
@@pseudo9616 I've been assaulted 13 different times, been called everything under the sun, and currently living paycheck to paycheck... It's definitely not easy, but I maintain. A lot of it is not letting what goes on inside the unit affect you outside of the unit. I also work with good supervisors who look out for me. No single day is predictable within the walls.
I worked at a jail for a year. It was not great but my favorite times were the people we had to go hands on with.
I was at the dog park the other day and got "decentralized" by a 100lbs + lab right between my legs as he was chasing a schnauzer. It was both demoralizing and painful. I feel your pain street meth lawyer.
dogs truly are the best decentralizers.
My nephew got decentralized by his own dog. She’s a service dog and he was doing a training exercise with her. He told her to center which means to get her butt between his feet. She did that. And then she head butted him.

I had someone behave somewhat similar to this when I was trying to save them from bleeding to death when I was a paramedic. I was applying pressure to his wound and prepping a tourniquet and he started screaming "She's assaulting me! She's assaulting me!" ... I'm like: "Sir, I'm a medic, you're going to bleed to death in less than 2 minutes if I don't treat this wound, please stop fighting me." Ultimately he bled to death after he punched me in the side of the head and refused to let me seal off his arterial bleed. Christ I'm glad I don't have to work directly with humans anymore, humans suck.

In his early videos he would explain how even if code blue cam (other creators in general is how he worded it) didn't allow him to,he could still make videos using their videos ,as long as he himself appears on the screen.

Him walking into the wall and screaming was so maddening and sad. Like those video of people throwing themselves on a car and screaming they were hit.
My sister did that to my dad before when he told her that she wasn’t taking her 5 year old son with her to walk 4 miles to their house when she was drunk. It’s just lucky that 2 other people were out there that saw what happened and the cop had dealt with her multiple times before.

This brought back memories of seeing some meth head at a bus station trying this crap screaming nonsense at police officers trying to goad them until he accidentally picked a fight with a guy kinda dressed like a cop and got brutally laid out. It was hilarious seeing him first try to claim the police attacked him, and then immediately switch to demanding they arrest the guy he had been pushing and screaming at.😅😂

Many years ago my freind got one of the very first body cameras. That same day a young woman was asked if she REALLY wanted to make a complaint about him. They actually let her watch the video. She changed her mind when the video contradicted every word of her complaint. She was also told that they saved her from being charged with filing a false statement. I don't know a cop who doesn't like having the camera.
Prolly those cops that were stealing shit from someone's house. Forgot what city it happened in but one of them forgot to turn it off and it showed them divvying up the person's cash they had in their house

Before body cameras being common, in 2012, we would use our phones to record video and audio clipping them to our plate carriers when we knew we were dealing with especially problematic individuals.
Worked out very well in our favor in a few instances where excessive force or sexual assault was claimed by subjects.

I used to be a LEO and I used to run into Randy Marshes like this once a week. Video made me laugh but ultimately this shit is sad. Dude is trying to drown demons with booze and meth and he's losing his life. A couple years in prison might save his life.
Doubtful, most addicts have to want to get clean. My step daughter couldn’t even be talked to about her addiction and used from age 15-26. The only thing that saved her was a 18month prison stay with the condition she got the shot and stayed in a halfway house.

Although I retired 11 years ago, I did 32 years on The Job. Most of that on Uniform Patrol and Special Services. That said, there is absolutely no way I could do it now - they have to put up with entirely too much BS and in total fear of being sued for just about everything.

this is the kinda guy, that 30+ years ago, would have "fallen down" a lot, while being arrested. (before body cameras)
In Alabama people still make it to booking after they "fall" several times. And nobody complains, because there's no bull s×itting here lmao
30 years ago, the cops would arrest you, put you cuffed and unsecured in the back of a van, then go do loops around the rough local back roads for a while. In my area (and I assume many others), they used to take a break during the ride and get out for a "walk" where the suspect would "fall" a number of times too.
Donut had one post where he talked about someone falling down stairs a few times.

@@raijuko that's because Alabama basically refuses to release body cams. The only people who can even request the footage is someone who is shown in the footage or a direct relative of said person. Even then it's completly under the departments discretion and they don't have to give any explantion as to why they deny the request.

My man, Donut has covered both sides with good and bad cops and he tries to keep things neutral and asks the comments if they think it was a justified shooting if the question arises. One video Donut covered had a rookie cop resign and later charged with murder because the suspect surprised the officer and was unarmed, the officer shot center mass and hit the suspect's heart. Purely accidental but it was unjustified.

I don't know exactly what he means, but the phrase, 'I'm gonna take your jacket,' is definitely going in my repertoire. I'll use it whenever I know I'm in the wrong or I make an outrageous request, but think I can intimidate the other person into seeing things my way. Or something like that.

like even if they detain you i don't understand how resisting helps, like the officer is just trying to do their job and they are human too, just cooperate and be as helpful as you can, be kind, it is strange to me how people can be so rude. I personally if I were detained would be polite and cooperate but if was being escorted somewhere would politely ask to walk without being held. But overall just Be kind.
