When they played you could go outside and hear people cheering from every house on the block! So exciting and fun......just loved watching those Steelers and Franco! RIP dear Franco.

I´m pretty sure Steelers will win this saturday honoring the day and the memory of the beloved Franco. I was a kid in the 70's but as I was growing up the Pittsburgh Steelers were a magic team and Franco it was a inspiration of couragement, pride and hope. It was really sad to hear this news today and maybe some people don´t understand even if I didn´t meet him, but his personality and kindness ran throught the TV to my heart. From Steeler Nation in México God bless you Franco and thanks forever.

Loved Franco as a kid. 👍🏾
Back in the 1970's there were these Electric Football Games. I had the Steelers and Cowboys game. You turn the switch on and the players run all over the game. When an opposing player touched your player carrying the little foam football, that was a tackle. You could swap the bases under the players.
    I was always the Steelers.
I put the bases that ran straight under Franco. My O-lineman got the bases that turned right or left. So I had Franco running straight up the middle for touchdowns like a mad man. 👍🏾
