A true embodiment of a Pittsburgh Steeler, may he rest in peace
ABSOLUTELY!!! You'd struggle to find anyone who ever had a bad thing to say about the man. May he R.I.P. indeed. #32🖤💛
9/3/22 I did the Steelers 5k. Coming into the stadium, to cross the finish line, who did I see? Franco Harris!!! OMG! There he was cheering on all the people coming in. I fist bumped him. He took pictures with everyone. Special, special guy. Heaven got a good soul.❤
RIP #32! Steelers Legend!
Rip Franco 🖤💛🖤💛
A man with a heart as big as the Steel City who won’t ever be forgotten. Rest easy, Franco.
My dad is heartbroken he was his favorite player as a kid 😭😭
Still can't believe we lost him right before his number was going to be retired. RIP Franco
Yeah it doesn’t seem real I was really looking forward to this weekend because I’m a Steelers fan and that was my late father’s favorite Running Back and team on the planet 😢
@@42killac yes obviously no time would have been a good time but losing him today was a bad time. Just wish he lived long enough to see his number retired but at least he knew it was happening. Just crazy they made it seem like he just randomly died. Like they never said he had health issues or anything
@@samhartman5676could be the way the family wanted it
Franco was not only a talented, gifted RB for the Steelers but also....a true humanitarian to the City of Pittsburgh and the many charities he was involved in and touched the lives of those who had the blessing of meeting him. 😃 Rest In Peace, #32. 🙏🏈🖤💛🖤💛
From a Kansas City fan I mourn the loss of this man. He was an amazing person who helped turn everything around for yall. I hope yall win this weekends game for him and his memory

When they played you could go outside and hear people cheering from every house on the block! So exciting and fun......just loved watching those Steelers and Franco! RIP dear Franco.

Such a tragedy… I miss him already 😢😞💔
Learning of his passing hurt…
Thank you Franco 🖤💛
I am a 58 year old woman. I was 8 years old when the Immaculate Reception happened and I became an instant fan. Watched them all through the 70's. Best and most exciting team ever! Always loved Franco. One of a kind!!! I lost my Mom this year and Franco. Bad year for me. Cried all week.
Peace to you. ❤️
Franco now enters the realm of legend. Franco came to the Steelers. When I was 12 years old. The rest is history. I just feel so lucky to live in Pittsburgh and to have been able to enjoy the past 50 years of Steeler football. Franco was the man who started all this a half century ago. RIP. It will not be the same without you.
RIP Franco. Gonna miss seeing you at the draft representing Steelers nation. Glad of your immaculate life and career 🖤💛🖤💛
As a life long Cowboys fan I am in tears hearing of his passing. RIP Franco... gone to soon

Very sad and shocked hearing of his passing. Great humble man.
I wasn't born in time to watch him play, but he's the reason I love the #32 so much. Thank you for everything Franco. RIP Franco! So sad he won't be able to be a part of this weekend's festivities in his honor😪🙏🖤💛
I´m pretty sure Steelers will win this saturday honoring the day and the memory of the beloved Franco. I was a kid in the 70's but as I was growing up the Pittsburgh Steelers were a magic team and Franco it was a inspiration of couragement, pride and hope. It was really sad to hear this news today and maybe some people don´t understand even if I didn´t meet him, but his personality and kindness ran throught the TV to my heart. From Steeler Nation in México God bless you Franco and thanks forever.
Loved Franco as a kid. 👍🏾
Back in the 1970's there were these Electric Football Games. I had the Steelers and Cowboys game. You turn the switch on and the players run all over the game. When an opposing player touched your player carrying the little foam football, that was a tackle. You could swap the bases under the players.
I was always the Steelers.
I put the bases that ran straight under Franco. My O-lineman got the bases that turned right or left. So I had Franco running straight up the middle for touchdowns like a mad man. 👍🏾
Rest In Peace Franco Harris a real legend in the NFL won of the best running backs of all time
There's not many good things about being old, but one thing is I got to see Franco Harris play when I was a kid. A legend.
A true football legend! RIP
You made Steeler Nation proud.
On and off the field.
