*Disclaimer: This is just my personal opinion based on my own experience when I played his character trial during the trailblaze mission of 2.4 version. It's up to each one of you how do you wanna build him.* When I played his character trial, I looked at his stats and his ATK, EHR and ERR are the HIGHEST stats so I assume that if we want him to perform well, make sure to prioritize these stats. I'm not sure about SPD but I don't think it's that high, just enough if we only include it in the sub stats. For team synergy, I agree with this video. He worked BEST with Black Swan and Acheron. I put Black Swan, Trailblazer (Harmony) and Luocha with him and trust me, it's SO SATISFYING. It same goes with Acheron (for my other account). I don't have Kafka so I can't comment on that based on my own experience but like this video said, he works well with DoT team and hypercarry team because he can increase the DMG taken by the enemies. He's like an upgrade version of Guinaifen and Luka. So, if you have Acheron/Black Swan/Kafka, just put him together with any of them and you will get a very satisfying results (as long as your characters are well-built). If not, then put him together with any of your DPS characters, like the ones that had been mentioned on this video and Dr. Ratio. If you want to put him together with Imbibitor Lunae, make sure you have/pull for Sparkle as he used 3 SPs to give a massive damage. Jiaoqiu is SP positive character so he is suitable for almost all teams (except for BE team). For support characters, it depends on which DPS character that you used. You can use Tingyun/Harmony Traiblazer (best F2P options)/Sparkle/Bronya/Ruan Mei/Robin. For Harmony Trailblazer, they are suitable for almost all teams as long as the enemies have the weaknesses of the characters' element types. Tingyun is suitable for almost all of DPS characters especially Argenti but not suitable for Acheron (because of her stacks), Firefly & Boothill (they are only suitable to pair together with Harmony TB and Ruan Mei as they are Break Effect DPS characters). Don't use Robin on DoT team as they're not focusing on CRIT stats. For Bronya and Sparkle, pair them w/ SP negative ones (Sparkle is best option for this). I agree with the relics but for the feet part, I suggest that we can also use ATK% if we want to focus on his ATK. If not, then just stick with the speed. For planar ornaments, it's better if we use Pan-Cosmic Commercial Enterprise set as it can increase his EHR for 10% and his ATK% by 25% from his EHR because his ATK is one of his main stats. Use ERR as the main stat of the link rope if the feet part is ATK. If it is SPD, then I suggest to use ATK% stat for the link rope, depends on how do you wanna to build him. For light cone, this video already suggest the BEST one for him. If you are an F2P player, Eyes of the Prey and Good Night and Sleep Well are the best one for him. If you want his signature light cone and have way too much Stellar Jades, then pull for it. Make sure you spend it WISELY especially if you are an F2P/new players as there will be more cooler characters in the future. Just keep up-to-date about it by following any of the HSR social medias and make sure you think carefully which character roles that you really need.
Solitary Healing is pretty much BiS in Pure Fiction for Archeron team because he can maintain 6 field proc uptime by re-applying field Ult insanely fast. So maybe this need to be informed as well. Also, Firefly planar that give speed boost also viable
Why are people thinking of replacing SW or Pela with him... No, you replace your Bronyas, Sparkles, Robins, Guinaifens, etc. with him because he's a Tingyun for Acheron. He batteries her so much better than advancing her to get 2 stacks from another skill. Plus a constant huge vulnerability debuff on every enemy makes it so Acheron's damage is consistent across the rounds.
Its because many people run acheron with sw and pela(including me), and even though its good for MoC and AS, it gets a bit close with PF, so applying a debuff everytime a new enemy enters will make acheron much more viable in PF
e2 acheron would absolutely keep bronya or sparkle. pela is the only option especially since vulnerability is pretty equal to def shred. the damage increase from the aforementioned harmony units are way too significant
Replace your Sparkle and replace ATK boots with SPD boots and lose out on SP, DMG, and Crit DMG? I don't think so I don't think anyone's running Bronya on Acheron teams lol Robin provides 100% Advance Forward AND insane ATK and DMG buffs, plus her own damage any time anyone attacks. She's not gonna provide as many extra stacks as Jiaoqiu but it's better to keep her versus other Nihility units. JQ is a legit replacement for Guinaifen though
Me planning on after getting mgself of e0 mommy black Swan(because I skip black swan for turning mommy Kafka into e2 and si2 her lc during black Swan 1st run) then go straight up skipping until fate collab next year, then I saw this new character. Definitely gonna go for e0 and si lc for now. Then if if mommy black Swan would have a rerun next then go for eo mommy and her lc
I think his role is just to fit with Feixiao and Moze. Since you mention hypercarry team have Jingliu and Acheron, Feixiao basically both of them but single target.
Which nerfs are you referring to exactly? His biggest nerf was to his Ult trigger count, but it only affects PF while having easy ways to counter-act it with Solitary Healing LC.
@@yanuwwuu He keeps getting referred to as a healer in the story. His original kit idea involved some basic healing, which was a big plus for most people even if it wasn't super big. Being able to have a nihilty debuffer/healer was appealing. But as time went on he got multiple nerfs and people are upset. I mostly just want his "15 energy at the start of combat" trace to get switched for something more useful, preferably what it originally was.

I feel like he might be the Kazuha of Honkai. People passed on Kazuha the first time too because of Raiden, but after people got to play with him, they realized he was the best support in the game and his rerun was probably more anticipated than any other character at that time.
I'd say, is he an upgrade? Yes, is he mandatory? No,because you can easily clear moc 12 with acheron pela because pela defense aoe shred is comparable with his debuffs will he give you bigger numbers definitely but in the end if your killing everything anyways it's just overkill and even with him filling fire dmg to assist with with break if you have a good built Guinaifen she fills that niche I think his value increases if ur acheron is e0 or no light cone because you need more nihility to get acheron dmg boost. I will say if your into one cycle stuff he prob would be a major upgrade but that is kinda also a niche to a small percent of the player base.
His biggest strength is batterying Acheron's Ult in PF. Unlike Pela or any other Nihility supports, he doesn't need to reapply debuffs every wave once you get his Ult going. But outside of PF, his value is lower. He is still BiS in MoC and Apoc, but not to the point that Silver Wolf or a high Eidolon Pela pales so much in comparison. I'd say he isn't like Ruan Mei in Firefly teams, where any other replacement makes the team comps fall off hard without her.
Btw I tested tutorial light cone with the prisoner set and it doesn't give any extra energy. I think its because its defense ignore rather than defense reduced. The effect hit rate is still great though and lets face it you're probably going to be playing with pela on the time a lot of the time but without a def shred you don't get the extra energy. Prisoner would be good for his damage in dot teams but elsewhere I'm probably gonna go 2pc diver/2pc speed
nah, i'll stick with my SW... i mean in most contents you have 1 boss or 2 elites.. all the little adds dies to Acheron's ultimate regardless of any debuffs so the AOE debuff really isn't necessary and considering some mobs dont take much damage UNTIL you break them, weakness implant still has value i may consider Jiaoqiu when he re-runs

My pela is 4pc eagle, 2pc broken keel. If i just yoink her 6 relics rn and give em to E0S1 jq, he’ll have 176% ehr, 162 spd. Eagle = faster turns = more energy = faster ultimate, coz of that 6 cap nerf. Sparkle is 160 so he’ll prefer being faster than her for start of battle debuffs for acheron.
After seeing a video of E0 Acheron with jiaoqiu clearing same speed as E2 Acheron with sparkle, I may really need to pull for him instead of Acheron eidolons. As I dun have sparkle too. Need some advice on this.
i'm planning to pull for him because i like nihility, though i currently don't have acheron (because i pulled for aventurine) but planning to pull for her on her rerun. i think its a good idea to get him now for acheron future use
He's not AMAZING but I definitely think he's going to be great for Ult dps like Yunli and especially Feixiao. On the other hand he'll be really solid for Dot teams for Black Swan and Kafka Acheron synergy is also very good because of the free stacks, definitely helpful for E0S0 Acheron
I'm using 2 PC speed 2 PC pioneer and the ehr ornaments me personally I'm building him mainly as a debuff for acheron maybe feixiao My build has 164 speed and 140 ehr
Should I get Jiaoqiu for my Acheron team or Feixiao? The problem is I don't really like my Acheron team right now, Idk it just...feels slow (50+% cr and 170% cd). I use Black Swan/Guinaifen (E6 Gui) and Pela (I think E4) for my Acheron team. For Feixiao, well, I'm desperate for follow-up attack unit since I don't have any strong follow-up attack dps that can clear game contents like MoC. I'm also gonna be pulling for Lingsha cause I don't like Lynx anymore.
If speed is your problem then I think Jiaoqiu will be an improvement definitely. Feixiao might be harder to consider since right now her best team is compile of 3 5 stars FUA units (which is really restricting). Having said that, we will need to wait for more testing on Feixiao to says for sure!
Should I pull for him or get E2 acheron? She's currently E0S1. If i get him, do I replace SW or pela? The reason I want to pull acheron's E2 is because I already have a 250cd/162 speed E0S1 sparkle, so I want to use her with acheron

WHY NOT COMBINE BOTH... Well my favorite acheron team is acheron, Kafka, black swan with a healer like luocha or aventurine, and I'm more than happy with its insane amount of damage output
There are E1s that are worth getting over new units, Huohuo comes close but still isn't one of them. Unless you're really struggling with SP or SPD on Huohuo teams JQ is the better pick
Alright I don't think you even need a support at that point, but well I still recommend if you are looking to increase you acheron's damage even more, but the more well invested you're acheron is the less value Jiaoqiu will bring, so I guess at the point sparkle will be better for your overall account

Given your situation I would recommend sparkle, since replacing pela with jiaoqiu would make you use more skill points, and without neither sparkle nor ruan mei you would risk to get into negative skill usage quickly, I don't think e1s1 bronya + a sustainer would be enough to generate your points. As for robin... You could use her but it wouldn't feel all that good, really few stacks for no real reward

Well if you are looking to improve your acheron team, then ofcourse pulling him is the best way to do it

@@B_Kaizo Yeah but you don't need to overkill. I think in my personal situation, I'll see more of what Lingsha can do in v4 and v5 and then if she's good enough, go for her(if I win the 50-50, going for her Lightcone or eidolon) and then pull Jiaoqiu on rerun when he's more needed.

There are E1s that are worth getting over new units, Huohuo comes close but still isn't one of them. Unless you're really struggling with SP or SPD on Huohuo teams JQ is the better pick

Alright I don't think you even need a support at that point, but well I still recommend if you are looking to increase you acheron's damage even more, but the more well invested you're acheron is the less value Jiaoqiu will bring, so I guess at the point sparkle will be better for your overall account

Given your situation I would recommend sparkle, since replacing pela with jiaoqiu would make you use more skill points, and without neither sparkle nor ruan mei you would risk to get into negative skill usage quickly, I don't think e1s1 bronya + a sustainer would be enough to generate your points.
As for robin... You could use her but it wouldn't feel all that good, really few stacks for no real reward
