Couple of interesting mods. Wow to that gas mileage. I dropped to a 15-tooth front sprocket and weighed 360 lb in gear and I'm getting 53 for general use driving and upwards of 58 or 59 on the highway.
I watched some you tube videos on it. This was my first time wrapping anything. It was a little difficult at the bottom because of the curves. I'm no expert and I threw away quite a bit of vinyl trying to figure it out.
@@louistortorich332 I have the same windshield and think you’re wrap really finishes it off. I guess I’ll have to watch some YT vids on wrapping like you. Did you wrap the outside or the inside of the screen?
@@louistortorich332 brother...but the double piece seat on the s model was lower than a single piece on r model. This is a seat from the r model and how do you say that is is 2cm smaller
@@louistortorich332 i m asking again because the original seat on 790 adv S model is 835 mm. The seat from 790 adv R model is 850 mm if you put on 790 adv s bike(my assumption). So how did you said that this is height is lowered?can you kindly check it and tell me.... Faithfully looking fr your rply. And i suggest you to put a high fender as the r model(front mudguard).
I am not using a factory R seat from KTM. I had a custom seat MADE FOR ME by Renzco Racing. They made the seat lower . They started with a 1 piece seat pan and built a custom seat on it
Renzco racing. Super comfortable, I went with the suede top and it makes a huge difference. They were able to lower it a bit for me as well. The only issue is that they had to purchase a one piece seat pan from KTM to build from. The may be able to do a 2 piece but I'm not sure. Worth the money. I did 8-20 hours in the saddle every day for 3 weeks without a problem. I did use LD comfort underwear as well. Also highly recommended.
I just got my 890. I like several of your additions.
Nice setup! Appreciate these videos with 10k + mile reviews. Sounds like you've been on several great long trips across the US.
Louis, you have a mint set up there, I am trying to work out windscreen options for my bike, thanks for your posting..
Great video!! Awesome bike man. Where did you get those round mirrors? As I also would like to use my mirrors while standing.
It's nice to see someone put together a bitchin' adventure bike and actually put a bunch of miles on it.👍

The milage was during a trip when I was packing 100lbs of camping gear. I'm 250lbs in my riding gear. Off road in gravel included as well.
Great review, like your bike setup 👍
Thanks!
Interested in your experience with your windscreen setup. How tall are you?
5' 7"
What clip on extension is on the rade garage windshield?
How did you fit windshield with headlight cover? I have the same parts but can't use them together because I can fit them.
looks nice! where do you get that waterproof case for behind your license plate?
img.jpcycles.com/zoom/701-160_A_V6.jpg
From J&P cycles, eBay, Twisted Throttle etc...
How did you attach Givi tool case? Just a plate bolted to the frame and case to that plate? Does it move towords the tire? Tnx
Yep, I just made a bracket plate out of some expanded metal that I had kicking around.
I'll see if I can get a clear photo.
It does NOT move at all.
Any chance you could share how you wrapped the windshield, looks very cool!
