    The older version of this heli I think it was the CX2 or something and it was the very first heli I wanted to buy. I was very excited to go get it from my local Hobby Town USA. It was meant for my birthday so when the date came I went to the store only to find out they had sold the last one and it was discontinued so I could not buy it anymore. I ended up getting the 200 SRX which is a fixed pitch instead of a coaxial and it went down the rabbit hole after that :)

      So my first electric Heli was the Eflite CX (yellow one) then I got the Eflite CX2 (red one) both where coaxial helis. I learned a lot of my normal flying with those helis. Then I got the Eflite CP and then CP 2 and those where the state of the art! Lol suck now! Man the helis we have now are amazing!

    great helicopter (how many flights can the original esc and control last me?) greetings😊😊

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  Год назад +1

      Hello! Yes it is! So with brushed motors they have a lifespan. That can be 20 flights or 200 flights. But normally motors get replaced around 100 flights. The ESC and everything else will last for ever.

    Its actually not very common to see a brushed motor heli use a 2s battery pack. This is a unique specimen for sure.

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  Год назад

      It’s not uncommon. Even though it is a 2s lipo it’s only 7.4v. We have been running 2s lipos for many years on brushed motors. Back when lipos first came out (most of your electric helis were brushed) we would swap the 7.2V NIMH packs out with a 7.4v lipo.

    Hope you never have to fix this thing. You’ll wanna back over it with your car. Not a great design and overpriced like all of Blade’s helis. I would recommend it to kids your daughters age IF it was under $125 Canadian to boot. Installing the battery and closing the hatch is a pain with the balance lead in the way. Also maybe I missed it but did you cover the calibration that you’re supposed to do before lifting off? Good job but you guys want another one mine is for sale. I’ll throw it away before having to fix it again with those cheap screws. Man this one drove me nuts.

      Good to know. Might be why we don't see it again in any future vids(unless i missed it). Looks like a pain tbh with that shell...keep the kids fingers out/ from tinkering...but also difficult to do any repair it looks like...but again, could be wrong.
      In all fairness... looks to be a
