- In an alternative universe where Yandere Simulator is finished and published in 2014. Considering it's been 8 years since then, the game has changed so much from it's original concept. Whilst I am still a big fan of the game and it's story now, I always do wish to know more about what the game would be like if it kept it's original story and themes.

I like how instead of being already a psychotic killer or emotionless she’s just an average girl that later develops her killing tendencies. It feels like an ACTUAL yandere and I love it.

*Hey! I remember this one! This was the original Visual Novel style Yandere Simulator right? The days where we thought Raibaru model was actually Osana? And thanks for remaking this using newer models! I love the vibe of the visual novel ngl, It gave us a whole different perspective of what Yandere simulator could be without too much emphasis on other things. I hope YandereDev focused his attention more on developing this one rather than complicating things tho*

I prefer Ayano's new personality tho, her motivation to kill Osana was kinda of stupidity tbh. It's not like the remake of that idea on Ryoba, who haved the same dream a lot of times, just only one dream and she was already in love and able to do anything for a boy.
I mean YandereDev only went to the current Ayano's personality route because there are too many people who complained about Ayano's personality. Because nobody was satisfied with anything he'd come up for Ayano, hyperbolically, you may say he got "pissed" and let the players make Ayano whoever they want her to be. As he stated Ayano is a blank slate so that players can just use her as please, like a self-insert character
@@yayamiki The 1980s mode actually recycled many things, including the fact that Ryoba is having the same dream every night. This is recycled from the idea of the first intro made for Yandere Simulator. As a new experience, YanDev made Jokichi and Ryoba stereotypical characters, Kokichi being the kind of boy who simps for hot girls and have that kind of playboy-ish or cool look on him, while Ryoba looks more like a cliché yandere. As of Taro and Ayano, they are rather special. I'd say that Ayano may be more broken then the other Aishis. As of Taro, the guy may not know himself but his bloodline may hide something, which is why despite looking like a dense and plain character, so many girls got attracted to him. I once read in the wiki that Taro Yamada is an equivalent of John Doe who is a type of character whose real identity is unknown, so maybe Taro could've been someone shaddier than Info-chan, or that he doesn't seem to know what his family is about. Strangely enough, even Hanaki is meant to be the Japanese equivalent of Jane Doe, making her also someone suspicious. I have a head canon for which Ayano's family could be related to Taro's family in a sense that Taro's family are related to the supernatural and the divine is also the one who placed a curse on the Aishis long ago due to something that the mother of the first Aishi did something that upsetted the gods. Ayano would then be the last Aishi to ever suffer from the curse implanted in her bloodline and it may also be related to Taro. Maybe in the end, Taro may want to help Ayano break the curse

I wish he kept some of the music. When it was starting week 1, I loved the tune and the animation. Maybe he could have a tune for each week for every rival so that each week feels more you unique to them.

Yeah, I hope in the final game that each rival has some sort of theme song specific to them. And then for their confessions, there could be renditions of that track but slowed down (just as a example) and then each week could have a jingle that uses a part of the rival's theme because, as you said, it would make each week feel a little more special and specific.
Incredibly well done! The calendar screen would be so clean and clear, I like that.

i miss this intro, yan sim would be amazing if it keeped up with the parody anime game concept.
To be honest, I prefer this version of Ayano, it would give a better feeling playing and watching gameplay, since I usually like to see her and Ryoba lose 😅

It took 6 years for osana to come out. Its gonna take a while before you can play the final game 💀💀

Unpopular opinion but I always liked this version of Yandere Chan and overall this intro better, to me it made her and the game seem much more alive. But i guess he changed it in order to make the game more serious. (I know there was another reason he made her emotionless but I forgot)
He changed her character but people didn't like it, so he didn't give her a character or backstory.
But then people didn't like the fact she didn't have a character or backstory, so he gave her an entirely new one.
And as her being emotionless, she isn't really emotionless, she just can't experience emotions on the same magnitude as most people.
Dev thought it'd be interesting to give her a condition that causes her to actually NEED her senpai on a deeper psychological level.
I agree, I’ve always kinda disliked how Ayano has been this emotionless blank state because it makes her not an interesting character whatsoever.

Actually, he didn't change her backstory to make the game more serious. Lots of fans thought she was too normal to be a yandere and did not like it. That's why he changed it.

In real life Japan high school students were shirt and blazers, more akin to Western uniforms. The models for those uniforms already exist in the game, so why are they not the default uniforms?

It’s in the lore of the game. Akademi was built in the image of the first Saikou. Everything down to the last detail was in her image. She really liked the sailor uniforms, so that’s what the uniform was.

i just realized something about this when info chan said that she would want to be a journalist one day and i know that this was a old build and 1980s mode wasn't even an idea but info chan could be the investigative journalists daughter because she said she wanted to be a journalist and the investigative journalist had a daughter so something might be connected between info chan and the investigative journalist.
That is look like the Android version of yandere simulator that's so familiar to other yandere fun games 🤔😯

When was it stated she was ever 10 years old?
@@dihte1628 there are some inaccuracies in yandere sim's timeline, like in the 1980s timeline ending, it states that Ayano was born in 2004, so by using that, and adding to the date used in the video, Ayano is 10 years old in this video.
