Thanks very much for your dedication to the 411 Himalayan, and for the great stuff you have put (and continue to put) on your channel. Best wishes from France.
It's sort of amazing how dramatically you can change the setup of the Himalayan. My own riding here in central Pennsylvania on the dirt and gravel roads is served fine with the stock setup of the motorcycle mainly because I'm riding like a tourist -- just wandering along seeing the sights. I'm neither pushing the bike or racing along. At my age that sort of thing is definitely in the rear view mirrors. The aluminum alloy wheels sound interesting though. I'll have to see what I can find in the US. Nice video. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Yet another informative video Ben. Nice to understand the why and how , always. Glad to know you’ll be making more content this year.. Wishing you happy new year !! You rock ❤
I'm planning to customize my Himi into a Ducati Desert X (cosmetically only). Wonder if it'll work. However, if a parallel twin cylinder version of Himalayan is coming soon, I'll wait for that.
One question.. I have installed Motocare crash guard on my Himalayan but lately I m thinking of some weight reduction on my bike and considering going back to stock re crash guard.. what’s your recommendation if there are any other guards
Ben thank you for all the info!!! You are amazing!! i am just not understanding what are these things i do not have so much knowledge over these things!!!! I own a himmy 2022!!! I ride a lot around the city so do I need any of this??? Fuel xpro or ecu ??? Please help me clear all of it !!!🙏
Have you tried the TEC Bike Parts' new camshaft? It is supposed to increase power by 20%, and to benefit torque. There is also RUclips showing how to fit it.
You did a amazing job on your motorbike.. Great.. But Himalayan build quality is so bad! (Then & now) this is not the vehicle iam gonna trust on my future run.. My mate got issue with cracked chassis even without a accident history! How? The build of the motorbike is so poor on site! Iam not criticizing every Himalayan on road.. I have few friends who owns it, they now wants to change. They facing many trouble mechanically with the motorbike day to day.. For a average motorcyclists can't maintian a bike like you doing bro! I spotted every off the road section ends with some new sound with engine. We not expecting that on a 2 lakh above motorbike. But in the end Himalayan is the only best budget all rounder motorbike currently on market. I reckon it is good bike on touring not so good on pure offroad.
You're probably the only legit guy with proper upgrades. Others are just chappris with camera and money. Kudos to yourself.
Thanks dear brother 🙏
