He was in great shape back then . I met him and Michael Douglas in 1974 . My father was a real life SFPD officer back then . This was back at a time when they did whatever it took to arrest a bad guy , even if excessive force warranted it .

He was in mad shape considering back then, they weren't as crazy about it as they are now and the healthcare sucked.

I fell in love with the show as I was around 13 I think back in the late 80´s. I had a crush on Steve (of course) and so I became a fan of "Streets of San Francisco" which is in my opinion one of the greatest drama shows of that time and still is my favorite, and Michael Douglas. I love this chase scene it´s absolutely great! Thanks for sharing. I bought myself the complete DVD box in English because you don´t get the whole show in German on DVD. But I don't care, I love the original, though they had a wonderful dub here too. ☺

I love the stunt work in some of the parts of the chase. This is a great video, thanks! I used to love this show when I was a kid! Everyone used to laugh because as a kid, I didn't like cartoons or kids shows really - I loved cop shows and Godzilla! The first season is the only one so far that I have been able to afford on dvd! Do you have any of the seasons on dvd?
