If Arsenal Set up with Havertz playing similar to the way he did at Leverkusen as a ten who makes a lot of false runs and than add a proper striker (Gyokeres, Oshimen, or Vlahović) they would not only have the strongest defense in the league but have ridiculous output in addition to controlling the center. As a Spurs fan as much as I hate to admit it that might be the setup they could win the league.
We did do that in a couple of games at the start of the year, where he basically played LCM and ST, switching with Trossard. A better ST/CM combination player to dovetail with him could turn into a masterstroke (although tbf Trossard and Havertz have like almost 40 goal contributions combined…so there’s that haha)

In the best season with Arsenal, Kai won nothing but in his first season with Chel, he won c1 and fifa club world cup. Kai is not found his home, he just found the better version of Tottenham.
The only reason you can even make any kind of argument in regards to that is because of kai haverts and his one moment with you, in the end when arsenal do eventually get their hands on the champions league the argument is no longer an argument lol

Kai Havertz is proving his doubters wrong. During his time at Chelsea despite his game winning goal in the champions league final, he never justified his price tag or replicated the brilliant form he showed at Bayer Leverkusen. He was wasteful in front of goal, inconsistent, hot and cold and nobody knew what his best position was. That’s one of the reasons why many eyebrows were raised when Arsenal signed him. Under Mikel Arteta when it comes to recruitment they’ve not really put a foot wrong and every transfer that was doubted ended up working out. He saw something in Havertz that nobody saw which is why they signed him. At the start of the season, when he struggled and looked devoid of confidence, many of us were proven right that he was a misfit. He didn’t look like a good fit in the team was uncomfortable playing as a midfielder and at the time nobody understood what Arteta saw in him. The last 3 months tho, he has hit a purple patch of form. He’s much better as a number 9 with Arsenal than he ever did with Chelsea. Playing on a far superior team obviously helps, somehow Mikel Arteta managed to get the best out of him. Chelsea made him look mediocre. 14 goals and 7 assists altogether, 13 goals and 6 assists in the premier league, he’s had the most productive season of his career in the premier league. At Arsenal, as the season has progressed he has grown in confidence has been more comfortable in their system and you can see that he’s on a team that has been able to utilize him to his strengths. In their attack, he’s responsible for getting the goals linking up the play winning balls in the air and with Havertz up top, it’s not a coincidence that Arsenal hit their best run of form with him as a number 9 even if it wasn’t enough to win the premier league title this season. The guy has been so good to the point where there’s a feeling that Arsenal don’t need to sign a striker in the summer, they probably will who knows, if they don’t, they have to continue putting faith in Havertz because he brings a lot to the team. This is one of the rare signings they’ve worked out and the right environment is how players like him can thrive and play to their potential.

Arteta is a proactive, forward-looking manager who sees potential where no one else can. It's hilarious the amount of times we buy a new player where everyone scratches their heads in confusion, but then they end up being great. I just wish we utilize our youth academy more and let the young lads get playing time on the pitch like many other clubs did this season.
Arteta really proved me wrong with Havertz's signing. It was a singing that made no sense. But Havertz as a striker is actually decent in Arsenal's setup.

Havertz also gets a lot of hate when playing for germany as a No 9, but he can defend and hold the ball, makes good decisions and finds most of the time the better positioned guy, he is just not a prolific goal scorer at the moment

Kai Havertz has improved. He doesn't care what these critics think of him. He will be top scorer for us this season. Havertz is more of a striker than a midfielder. Havertz can partner up front with Oshimen or Gyokeres.
As a Chelsea fan, I always thought Havertz was an excellent player and sorry to lose him. He was never played consistently in a role he could excel in. It was ridiculous.
Yep, when he playey at LCM, arsenal definitely got worse in midfield. But when havertz played as a false nine, idk why but suddenly they got more effective
The problem is that many fans who have a seasonal ticket think they merit commenting on players for that reason. They have no idea of anything let alone Raumdeuter Kai Havertz. Not only Mikael pays him + £60 millions, he pays him the highest weekly wages. Lets chill and concentrate on watching the game and leave playing tactics to Arteta. Thats why he was appointed as Arsenal manager.
I think that Havertz isn't the problem, it's the coaching. No one is patient with him and when he a player keeps moving postiions, they will have to play in a way they either aren't used to, or are just rusty. Havertz consistently being told to play a different way prohibits his footballing ability in a way
The goals he scores even a defender will do. he has no goals out of personal efforts, there are teams arsenal will need that personal effort from Havertz which he will not make that difference. This 2024 Euro should serve as a lesson
He fly under the radar because of his smooth play style. He makes the right plays many times and has a touch of gold to set himself up for a shot or assist. Defensive pressure is a plus. He's solid

I'll admit I doubted Havertz, I hope his comeback arc continues
As a Chelsea fan, I always thought Havertz was an excellent player and sorry to lose him. He was never played consistently in a role he could excel in. It was ridiculous.
I think he has won over the majority of the Arsenal fanbase - he won me over!
Yep, when he playey at LCM, arsenal definitely got worse in midfield. But when havertz played as a false nine, idk why but suddenly they got more effective
There are no bad players, only players that play for Chelsea (or manu).
I admit I doubted Havertz and I was wrong. I hope he continues this form next season tho.
i hope he scores today against spain!
well well well...
Kai harvetz is a excellent player i respect him
Don’t cole palmer score a bunch of pens
The problem is that many fans who have a seasonal ticket think they merit commenting on players for that reason. They have no idea of anything let alone Raumdeuter Kai Havertz. Not only Mikael pays him + £60 millions, he pays him the highest weekly wages.
Lets chill and concentrate on watching the game and leave playing tactics to Arteta. Thats why he was appointed as Arsenal manager.
He’s still putting the ball too close to the keeper. More than once’s he’s done that
I have said it b4 and I will say it again that guy kai people will still say wow over that guy kai in time to come
Some of these comments didn't age well.😂
They do, this season
I think that Havertz isn't the problem, it's the coaching. No one is patient with him and when he a player keeps moving postiions, they will have to play in a way they either aren't used to, or are just rusty. Havertz consistently being told to play a different way prohibits his footballing ability in a way
The goals he scores even a defender will do. he has no goals out of personal efforts, there are teams arsenal will need that personal effort from Havertz which he will not make that difference. This 2024 Euro should serve as a lesson
We still finished second so idk if we improved or not if we finished in the same spot. 😂
He fly under the radar because of his smooth play style. He makes the right plays many times and has a touch of gold to set himself up for a shot or assist. Defensive pressure is a plus. He's solid
I was very confused as to why we got KH, but yet again, Edu/Arteta have proven me wrong.
chelsea fans still crying lmao thank you again coyg
