I loved that you showed the train and the lights it has on it, that is so special and I loved the compact and the tiny milk glass piece with the lid. I found one similar in the creek in Pennsylvania in a creek on our farm. Lid and all, just like yours. Merry Christmas to you both and your family!

What a fantastic video with tons of super finds loved the Torquay ware little dish as reminds me of holidays down in Torquay when I was young and in the gift shops you found Torquay ware. Just wanted to ask at the start of the video with the steam train going across the bridge, where does this run and is it open to the public, love a steam train, at the end of our garden we get the British Belmond Pullman go past which has it's lights on in the carriages at might. Lovely to see Mr Robin again, wishing you both a merry Xmas a no dca happy new year

Great video Ian and Louise. It was definitely worth braving the cold for that silver compact - what a great find! How do you go about cleaning up something so delicate? Thanks, yes definitely worth it for the compact. We find an hour in lemon juice to get the muck off , then silver polish . Merry Christmas and Happy New year 🎄 🎉 ✨️

Sorry bit late to the video - well done for getting out on the one frosty day we have had down South this year!
The shell is a Cowrie shell (bigger non native versions of the goaty Buckies beach combers find! Cowries have lots of folk law around them! Although not native there is one beach in North Devon where they can be found when the wind tide and seasons are all correct - so I wonder if yours came from there?!
