Watched your live stream last night about this mod and happy to see the test runs went well so that this could be released this morning. So far your mods are the reason I am still playing almost every day. I was thinking you should name that mag sniper you modified up to over 10K damage a badass-ery mag sniper. Looking forward to your eventual master work on the mods you mentioned last night. Your vision for DarkStar mods was enthralling to hear. I would not hesitate to pay a reasonable price for any of your mods. Bethesda should have offered you double your current salary and covered the cost to move. Now I have to download this mod this morning at 4:30 am and head out looking for some badass-ery weapons. TO THE UNITY AND BEYOND!
Latest Update: All Research completed! The initial issue was the list of unlocked items was too long and the page would not scroll down so the 'E' was not visible...but live and learn.. Now will dive on the actual meat of Manufacturing... Thanks again for all your tremendous efforts in giving this game something unique and truly unleashing the tinkering of components to a different level. Your Mods are 'Out of this world' :-) Kudos and looking forward to your paid projects.
Downloaded it last night and got the research done up to the level that i am (103), I tried out a lot of different combinations. It was great. Weapons hit like a truck. took 4hrs to get all the research done. Lol not complaining at all. had to go set up a few bases to get me certain materials. I only had 1 game crash and it only happened 1 time. I created a mk 3 hard target. I put Darkstar agent mk1 in slot one. Mk 2 envoy in slot two and mk3 envoy in slot 3. the quality was unrivaled. When i put the mk 3 unrivaled on it went from 1600 damage ballistic to 836 damage ballistic. when i tested the weapon i got locked into ads mode. the weapon wouldn't fire. then the game crashed. Though I loaded the game again did the exact same thing and had no issues. I couldn't for the life of me get it to replicate. Loving the customization i hope authors like KZ patch to your system.
Incredible work so far! A little off topic from this video, but could I request that the Disruptor auto beams come in a turret? It would be perfect for a few builds I have going..
Uh... Who hurt you? Lol Solar beam Turret would be nuts. Maybe some day, but adding weapons is quite a lot of work. Solar beam only animates 1 time per ship, though. You can add more than 1 or they bug out.
I quickly passed over a Quantum Harness in the loot thinking it was some "Harness" (piece of clothing) that I didn't want. LOL. I feel stupid for passing on such an important item.
Great mod loving it on the Xbox Series X. Run into a slight bug though. The Ranger apparel, including the Freestar duster has missing hands and forearms (not sure about other apparels), I didn't know where to report, so I thought I would drop a note here. Sorry for the negativity, apart from that I love everything about it, can't wait to eventually unlock higher tiers.
It's a clone of the base game apparel. I changed no graphics. I'll double check and see if something got dropped, but... there are several versions of the apparels. Make sure you constructed the one you thought you did ;) I will investigate when I get a minute to breathe.
I reloaded a few saves trying to figure that out too, I took a guess and hit enter key and it worked. Get ready to do a lot of research, but if you build a landing pad, his kiosk will help you with some of the supplies. I built it on Venus at a civillian outpost, so I could restock faster.
Will this conflict with any other workbench or weapon mods? I currently have mods that give options for creating my own legendary gear and quality (regular to superior). Where in my load order should I put this?
It also should drop at poi's as long as you don't have another mod stopping it. Future update, the loot additions will be done with injection. But for now, they are hard additions
The TA Kiosk had 24 for me on the terminus. I used those to create the work benches mainly the weapon crafting one first. Then created them from there to meet the research requirements. didn't have any issues.
Mod causes crash on UC questline. The terrormorph attack on new atlantis. Required to pick up EM rifle causes crash. Can drop mod and do quest and then activate again, but then all items, gear, special items and RESEARCH is all lost and have to redo everything. My guess is you need to add that quest weapon to your mod. I did test this multi ways and its this mod for sure causing issue. Hopefully you can fix. That is one of the best quests in starfield and hate to miss it on NG+.
I haven't never been able to recreate this. I've done that quest dozens of times with this mod running in old and new versions just to see. No CTD ever during any part of it. If I can get it to crash, I can figure out what's causing it. But, I can't.
First let me say I love your work and can't thank you enough! I do have a problem in that I get stuck in reaseach on the first material phase. Project completes and opens up weapons and suits and I can hear crew talking but can't Tab or Exit out like normal.Maybe this is my potato pc but FPS doesn't drop so I am unsure.I will keep trying but just a heads up also haven't been through unity yet in this play through so maybe that is the problem.Keep up the awesome work on your mods!!

For the 1st and 2nd window of research, there is no visible option on pc to hit e or enter, but do it anyway, and the research complete window will go away, taking you to the next level.
Running on asus predator 17" laptop. 1st research done but... no way to exit the popup window. Not scrollable either to read all that's unlocked. Running game in full-screen mode. Forced to alt. Control delete to exit.
Have a question burning a hole in my mind. Why do we have better pistol and rifle scopes in the 21st century than there are in the 24th? They have grav drives but the weapon scopes are like 19th century technology.
can't add legendary mods (doesn't appear in legendary slot menu) to weapons even that i completed all legendary researchers plus I'm already at level 130
Use a Mk.II weapon. Vanilla weapon legendaries are not moddable. You have to upgrade them at a weapon enhancement workbench. This is in the instructions in the slates/terminal in game, and on my website.
The Darkstar microgun is broken, it won't aim or fire and frequently won't even display properly; it shows the player ready for unarmed combat with the microgun held in one hand pointing up in the air.
@@WykkydGaming When I got into the workbench only socket 1, 2 and 3 were available; there were no standard options. I replaced agent with spec-ops and then the standard options became available and the weapon now seems to behave normally.
I am not a general modder. I have plans, and I generally stick to those plans. M-class ships do not currently fit the scope of my mods. It may in the distant future, but saying too much would be spoilers.

Update on the issue I just reported: TAB did not work... but tapping on 'E' did get me out.... wow.. will keep going and keep you posted...

So mark 3 vile relic is the highest tier right? Took me a minute to find vile ammunition. At the bottom , V duh
Yes. Relic xxx Mk.III would be best version of ballistic xxx. Relic yyy Mk.II would be best version of energy/em/Particle weapons

The new benches use research lab animation. I've never seen what you're describing happen.

I will check, but I used it heavily in testing and never had a bug with it. What did you install onto it

It seems to start working when I'm in third person but fails again when I switch to first person
