The most amazing thing about this video is seeing that the milkshake machine works at McD's in Korea. On a more serious note, I really enjoyed this as it shows how some words can be super versatile in day to day conversations.

Can we please have more Yeji in this video series? We need to hear examples of female intonation more often in these conversations. I studied every episode of Run BTS and now people tell me I sound like a dude in college, so now I'm trying to find more material with female speakers. Besides that, these videos have been very helpful. Thank you.

i noticed in the last clip, even when getting things from the drive thru, you gotta hold your arm to be polite if you're not picking it up with two hands

They speak soooo fast! Without the subtitles I would've have not known what they were saying. There some TikTok videos that basically acted out these where the staff asked all sort of questions very quickly and the learner just kept replying '...pay with card?' 😂 This is definitely a useful series in teaching how we should reply to the questions, and what sort of usual phrases we can anticipate when travelling/living there.

I play these at .75 speed when I first see them. Then watch at normal speed when I'm ready. I do the same with Netflix/any platform that allows us to adjust the speed.

Yeah even with subtitles it’s a little too fast for me. And putting the Video in slowmo sort of distorts the audio quality. Anyone know of any videos that are listening practice but are slowly enunciating?

почему на 52 секунде видео 사장님 переводится как "Excuse me" ? это же неправильно, это слово означает "начальник", но никак не "извините меня".

In all restaurant or street food or in market, may we call the one who serving us with '사장님' or '이모'?

Yes, 사장님 and 이모 are common ways to call the server. 저기요 is also another way to call them

Can there be a version that one would be able to turn off the subtitles to test my listening skills? Having subtitles on all the time gives a false sense of confidence.

    Just as a feedback
In a scenario I would like to one without subtitles and one without it so I can focus on my listening skills. Just when there's a subtitle I just read it 😅
