Great channel! I haven't been met with any resistance or myths because my kid's been above the 90th %ile for length, weight, and head circumference as well as "very advanced" cognitively since the beginning. The way he's thriving speaks for itself! I get a lot more jokes about how my "magic vegan mama milk" and plant-based diet are making him grow huge and giving him energy :)

Love this! My son is a very healthy eater as well and I love sharing that he was fueled by plants :)

Great Video ladies. I was under the impression that the main issue in not offering cow's milk is because the other options out there are much lower in fat. Can you please comment?

Suzanne Hajto The main reason especially in kids under 2 is that it is harmful to their delicate gut lining. Early milk exposure is linked to autoimmune diseases such as Type 1 Diabetes!

That is correct before age 1. After age 1, soy and pea milk are the closest options to cow's milk in terms of protein and fat. Although they can be lower in fat so it's important that plant-based parents regularly provide good fat sources in their children's meals.
