Guess he's what you call a niche gamer and loyal to what he is to others rather than pulling a Piewdiepie. Where the other one changes constanly and never has a static type of content. John is your guy for horror, although he is not as deadpan as some make him out to be, thats because you see his transition from the beggining to now. I stumbled across this channel a few months ago and never have been more thankful for that.. I love John's voice and weirdly enough it helps me to fall asleep like the asmr ones when I'm stressed..the fact that he rarely screams and has a wicked sense of humor only adds to the experience 😊
This game is soooo wrong on so many levels. Kuchisake-Onna is about a woman who got her mouth sliced open by her husband, she returns as a malicious spirit. She asks her victims if she is pretty while she wears a scarf or some sort of mouth covering, soon she takes off her scarf/covering and will ask again if she is pretty. If you say no, you are killed. If you say yes, she gives you a slit mouth like hers. Ahhhh this game is terrible lmao

Bah... Games like this piss me off. I know someone put a good chunk of time into the game. I know a lot of people feel they should get money for the time and effort they put into their work. This is ridiculous though. This game should have been free on Itchio, GameJolt or something. It's stuff like this that gives indie games (especially indie horror) a really bad rap. Indie titles like Colina Legacy ($10 on Steam, 8+ hours, all around good) or Untold Stories ($10 on Steam , 4 hours, 1 great story told through 4 games). Hell, there is lots of wonderful short, free horror games (that aren't RPG maker games) such as "Midnight Scenes: Episode 1 & 2", "I Remember This Dream", "Phobia 1.5", etc. To those of you that do awesome work, thank you. You aren't appreciated enough. Seriously.
You know what kinda grinds my gears? Notes being left throughout a level in chronological order. If I ever made a game, I’d rather have a character’s full diary laying somewhere and the player can read through it all to give context to the events of the game.

Try to play Advanced Education with Viktor Strobovski again, it has a lot updates and added a lot of content and secrets. Also try to beat it, it have a easy difficulty and 3 endings.

I would love a Night Ripper-like game featuring the Kuchisake Onna! I think that a metropolitan environment would suit her much more than being in some random person's home. Maybe the scenario would be something like: Slightly buzzed, you make your way home from a drinking party with your coworkers. The last train has already left and you're deciding whether you should rent a room at a nearby hotel or make your way to your own bed. That's when a lovely woman approaches you...

If yes, she’ll remove her mask, revealing her mangled smile, then ask: “am I pretty now?” If they respond “no”, she’ll cut them in half. If they say “yes,” she’ll cut their mouth like hers. It’s one of my favorite urban legends, and it’s super disappointing that they made a game without even going into a deep storyline about the origin of Kuchisake Onna. It was very underwhelming. Still enjoyed your video though, John. Got a good laugh out of the “you got S L I C E D”
