there has to be something wrong with the sim lol. I know in franchise there's an "attributes effect" slider which is supposed to make the sim a little more realistic if you make it 9/10. Idk if there's a thing like that in playoffs mode though

I think it's boosting young teams like Anaheim that make it - or enforcing parity or something. Generally upsets are okay every once in a while in a 1-8 seed, but when it's every team a pattern emerges. Smthn like that.

I'm almost certain at this point that some rogue developer working on this game put in some extra code to give Jets like a 50% boost on all stats... or the simulation is just broken for Winnipeg. I mean, it's definitely broken with literally HALF of the games ending in an upset. Good job EA, you made such a balanced game that the stats don't matter! ...except Winnipeg's.
