You can tell that Tattletales was taped in that same studio as this version of Jokers Wild was taped because the Blue Yellow (banana section) Red sections like in Tattletales
I remember the audience feature of this show. People thought I was nuts when I said that there was once only one audience member playing (as opposed to the three that played towards the end of the syndicated run). Thanks for posting this!
Interesting addition to the show that I remember as a kid. And kinda a strange moment when the lady gets all 3 Lucky 100s. Almost seemed like Jack didn't really know what to do.
In regular bonus game attempts, a natural triple of three same money amounts was an instant and immediate win was not added to the show until the syndicated daily version premiere in September 1977.
I still remember THE JOKER JIVE theme but truthfully I never knew what it was called.I loved both Joker.s Wild themes.I still to this day can hear that Joker.s Jive theme in my head.I also love the 1978-86 closing theme. The Pat Finn 1990 version wasn.t too bad but not like old Jack Barry show.
Years before there was a Natural Triple Jackpot on The Joker's Wild, there was a "Lucky $100" on the wheels in which she pulled a Natural Triple of those 3 to avoid the Devil and won $16,217 in cash and prizes, including two trips. And it was the woman from Pasadena not Italy who won it all, a trip Around the World and a trip to Holland. This game show is now a Sony Pictures Television property.
I miss the way regular TV used to be its really sad in this day and age there are hardly any game shows on TV nowadays and that's exactly why I don't watch regular TV its too stupid there are too many stupid shows nowadays they make no sense so I started watching Netflix its more entertaining.
The Joker.s Wild should also be brought back somewhat in it.s original form HOWEVER if this were my show-Brand new rule in the bonus round--IF YOU GET 3 LUCKY 100S!! YOU WIN $1,000,000 & A BRAND NEW CAR 🚙!!
I loved this little gimmick and the super prize that it was worth made it worth waiting the two months until it was hit by a member of the audience. I'm more disappointed in that the show was cancelled by CBS 3 months later.
If this were my show--IF ANYBODY WOULD BE LUCKY TO HIT THE "LUCKY 100" IN ALL 3 WINDOWS!!--BESIDES THOSE SAME PRIZES & THE REGULAR $1,000--THEY WOULD ALSO WIN $50,000 & A NEW CAR 🚙!!
Did anyone ever mistake Jack Barry for Bob Barker or vice versa between 1972 and 1975? They had the same hair style at the time, and both of them were on CBS.
You can tell that Tattletales was taped in that same studio as this version of Jokers Wild was taped because the Blue Yellow (banana section) Red sections like in Tattletales
This is one of the BIGGEST spins in the history of The Joker's Wild.
Same here
I can see the "Lucky 100" was also the precursor to the Audience Game I grew up watching in the '80s.
WONDERFUL! This is great! I LOVE it! And I haven't seen "The Joker's Jive" bring on a show in YEARS!
FANTASTIC!
That was a neat video, with the music I hadn't known was a theme to the show, plus the feature I didn't know about. Thank you for sharing!
This is some cool stuff! I enjoy seeing the VTR slates on here. Great show that I always enjoyed watching

I love Jack Batty, but his opening explanation was as clear as mud. And the man even had a cue card. Just part of his charm.
Interesting addition to the show that I remember as a kid.
And kinda a strange moment when the lady gets all 3 Lucky 100s. Almost seemed like Jack didn't really know what to do.
Great Price is Right type moment.
A Natural Triple
Jack Barry almost got "Samoaned" by Carmen.
I love the pink TPIR looking name tags. That audience lady was lovely. This was great interaction. I liked this theme instead
3:43; Come on Down! You're the next contestant on "The Joker's Wild"!
That was an awesome feature. The precursor to the natural triple automatic win.
In regular bonus game attempts, a natural triple of three same money amounts was an instant and immediate win was not added to the show until the syndicated daily version premiere in September 1977.
The Lucky $100 game was played by the regular contestants, but what a miracle for an audience contestant to take home that big jackpot!
Yeah, really "lucky" for her.
Nice to know the first game was taped 5 days to Christmas! ⛄ 🎄
Jack Barry said That the joker’s wild Was a wild and crazy game show. I wish he had lived here to see Snoop Dogg’s version.
I haven't seen this episode since it was aired as a repeat on WTAF-29 Philadelphia around early 1977.
Yes
Me, too!
Carmen almost broke that lever.
Note that on the first show posted (1/8/75), the red frames surrounding the wheels were turned off completely-only time I know of that ever happening!
How do you know? I don't know and there aren't many CBS TJW's intact, I don't think, so I'll say YES!!!!!
*All* of the CBS Joker’s Wild exists; they were discovered at WCBS some 20 years ago (along with Spin-Off) during a newsroom remodeling.
Sounds excellent as well! Still like to know the name to Alan Thicke's Dixieland Jazz-esque Money and Devils win cue (5:18)...
sounds like something that could've worked for Family Feud

I remember seeing this episode as a kid. I knew the winner was from the audience, but I thought she was much older. Must be the glasses.
This aired on 1/8/75, a certain game show was only 3 days old on another network
That audience game came near the end of the CBS TJW run.
This must have inspired the audience game in 1981.
Come On Down You're next Constant on the the joker's wild😉.
I wonder if those pink nametags were meant to replace the yellow ones on Price is Right? Same shape and even have the dot on them.
Notice: the slot machine sound effect debuted during the CBS run of TJW, I thought it was during the syndicated show.
5:14 A hundred, Lucky hundred, OHHHHH!!!!
5:56 "Can you believe this!"
5:55 "Can you believe this!"
I didnt realize the dixieland theme was on the CBS and syndicated.
I do clearly remember the Lucky $100 & the how it was won.
NICE
The rotten Devil got defeated.
Although I confess I did like the theme from the 1990 show too.
I miss the way regular TV used to be its really sad in this day and age there are hardly any game shows on TV nowadays and that's exactly why I don't watch regular TV its too stupid there are too many stupid shows nowadays they make no sense so I started watching Netflix its more entertaining.
👍👍👍
Show this show this well is cool
A Triple Lucky 100!
And she also got a NATURAL TRIPLE so she automatically won $1000
Why isn't the full episode uploaded?
Because I only wanted to show this
At 3:26 Jack Barry must have borrowed the music from "Hee Haw."
The audience is wearing the price tag name tags on jokers wild
Remember this very clearly.
WHOOOOA CHEK OUT THAT DOOO! FANASTiC ..U GO BOi'friend ..WoW WEE hAhA
So this was during the CBS run and not the syndicated version.....
No Jack, PASADENA, CALIFORNIA.
He was joking .

same studio as tattletales. interesting to see tpir nametags on a non goodson todman show.
I noticed the colored walls in the back (red, yellow, blue).
Studio 41, CBS Television City in Los Angeles (the same studio where "All in the Family", "Tattletales" and some other CBS shows were taped)
Like price is right jokers wild had the cue card with date number of the episode
I loved this little gimmick and the super prize that it was worth made it worth waiting the two months until it was hit by a member of the audience. I'm more disappointed in that the show was cancelled by CBS 3 months later.
Where did you find this clip?
The rotten Devil popped up.
They forgot to staple that lever.
Gee... I guess Tattletales wasn't taped in the same studio. ;)
I did the first time I saw a clip for a commercial on GSN in 1997.
They went to same stylist.
"You're not clear anytime!" - Johnny Jacobs at the first slate clip.
Hate that Devil!
Too bad in the current version, a natural triple does NOT get you the $25,000. Edit: In season 2, 3 Jokers gets you the $50K.
But you can get $25,000 about as quickly as the audience member, give a couple extra spins
That woman’s name
Hate that rotten Devil!
This was a Thursday show.
If my math is right, that Holland trip was $1300?
Was that the 1st time someone won with a Natural Triple/
No!
Where did you find these episodes
