Speech and Arrestted Development are my Hip Hop Legends. I loved their rawness and genuinity. Rocking it in the train in the Netherlands while going to school on my daily commute. Mr. Wendel translates very well across borders.
remember & love this song. completely agree with the philosophy behind it - representation of people, communities, culture that is not all the negative - esp in early days of rap. to me, my attitude to homeless - still a *person* - breaks my heart, to ignore them, pretend they don't exist. I do not have any money to give (on sickness benefit), do have my time, have a conversation with my fellow human being.

First CD I owned and this record still grooves. Speech and company are / were true originals.
I love his point of view. Even at his young age. Great!.
Zo heb ik gewerkt onder verslaafden. Zelfde soort ervaringen... puurheid in emoties
Gangsta rap was so prominent back then, Arrested Development is a fresh of breath aire because of the lyrics in their songs.
Loved this song, very De La Soul Eye Know
On my playlist to this day ✊🏽
En weer een briljante video van de top 2000. Pareltjes!
What a great, articulate voice… I could listen to you all day!💯
Always loved Arrested Development... Saw them in Hamburg Germany 5 years ago!
I love this song ❤ Arrested Development brings back so many memories of my youth even though I discovered them much later on!
I remember skipping school and walking to the shops to buy this on cassette tape. What a great album
I love this track. It's lovely to hear all about Mr. Wendell. It makes sense now. Props to AR it made a deep impression on me at the time .
Love the work Speech has done. Also with 1 Giant Leap. Dionne Farris is a brilliant talent too.

This is fantastic. Thank you for posting this
This song was ahead of its time. I wish I’d listened to the lyrics more back then.
Never knew this. Not my style either.
But interesting story, and sounds pleasantly.

Was that the old man that used to dance in the background of this group? 😸
@@KahlessTheUnforgettable That was Baba Oje, who passed in 2018.
Don't like this song but the message is great. And at least they brought us OUTKAST! 😍
Metro Boomin, Don Toliver, Future - Too Many Nights (Official Video).
What a great song far superior to any other of the time and better than any rap before or since
Good one! 😂🤣
What a load of crap 🤣
diepzinnig en creatief en niet zo geforceerd
De la Soul did it first and did it better
