It can be upgraded. Dump the ROM and then use a normal ROM and put on the games you want. I can hear you saying ' no that uses an epoxy blob'... yes... but it's actually just on a SOP44 carrier board. It can be replaced with a SOP44 of the same type. Someone like myself (I routinely reverse-engineer stuff for emulation and repairing purposes) could analyse the board, figure out the pinout and dump that little carrier board then once it's dumped it can be emulated and at that point all the secrets are revealed. Several other cheap consoles use the same type of SOP44 carrier board and they were dumped and emulated with very little effort.
Hello. It is very cool to hear someone who knows about this sort of thing. Is there “carrier board” a second PCB? I have a PCP Station I wanted to dump but there’s only one PCB and it has a blob on it. Do you have any idea how to figure out the pinout of weird blobs like that?

Have you seen any PC Engine clones or retro consoles that have some of the PC Engine games onboard? For some reason apart from the PC Engine Mini which is expensive, there don't seem to be any I've seen? I do know there are a few retro handhelds that have a wide array for emulators including a PC Engine core. I'm meaning something dedicated to the PC Engine, in looks or games library... Cheers :)
@@Mindboggle100 You are in the wrong place, this has nothing to do with pc engine and anyway nothing is going to be done about dumping this or the several other clone tv-game consoles that have been shown on this channel and also have the exact same type of sop44 blob. Seems like this guy just doesn't care about preservation.
I have one like this but with EA sports games. Madden NFL football 95 and NHL hockey 95. 2 controllers, they're a different style controller too.
I used to have that one. I wish there was a way to hack it to delete NHL 95 and replace it with NBA Live 95

Does it sound slow because of the region you are in? Im guessing 50hz? Im watching from North America here we run on 60hz so sonic spinball sounded slow

is it rare cause its sealed? I saw this same thing at a garage sale opened and it had a price of 2 dollars.I passed on it cause Ive had a few atgames things and they were terrible. the only one Ive had luck with is the 2019 model or might have been 2018 of the genesis looking atgames console with atgames in the bottom right and the atgames logo is under the cartridge slot not above it(cause theres another one not so good that looks close.)It uses the genesisGX core for the games(like retroarch uses) and can play genesis and 32x games perfectly and has the SD slot and save states.Unfortunately that version because it runs games perfectly and supports 32x and takes original cartridges if you want but can run around 60 bucks used. it was compared to the actual sega genesis mini and the atgames console is preferred over it vs the mini.Its no big deal but it needs a firmware update to run 32x games
go back and pick it up and I can dump it and it can be emulated. I'll cover the cost+shipping.

I'm amused it says ATGames and Blaze...ATGames on controllers with Blaze on the card insert... they're different companies these days...Blaze EverCade is a popular handheld nowadays...I own one with cartridges...I also have several ATGames consoles...I recognise the menu typical Firecore select screen...software is similar to the ugly oval shaped MegaDrive emulators from ATGames that I have...my oval ones look nothing like a MegaDrive console though...very early Flashback things but they play sort of ok...board inside is pretty much the same as that yellow controller but with infra red added...the later Flashbacks from ATGames look nice...ATGames finally got it right by 2018...then Sega cut ties with them...business deals make no sense to me...Sega wait till ATGames make the ideal emulator console then pull the plug...oh I understand...when ATGames produce crap for over 10 years it was ok with Sega logo...but when they make a device that the retro community approves of...oh no...we didn't expect this...
