I use vinyl transfer film. For transferring diecut vinyl graphics. You can get stuff with a 1”x1” grid on it too which helps with layout. Plus it’s clear, so if you draw on your fender you can see the line through the film. Stick it to the back release paper to transfer a mirror image. I’ve used this technique to make templates for dirt bike graphics to get the shape. Then I stick them to butcher paper and take them to kinkos and scan them onto a usb. Now I have digital copies to make custom graphics cut to fit perfect.
Damn that was a good edit! I've always used a sawzall. Someone i know who owns a pretty good ($$) fab shop said he just gets it "close enough" because theyll never know haha, he said he loves doing fenders because you cant see both sides at the same time so you have room for error.
I cut fenders all the time while they are still on the truck and then roll back in a factory Edge if you want to butcher something then do it like that

Bro if my fenders weren’t the same i would be pissed
What size tire are trying install? Or running?
37" tires
Just use a tape measure, waaaay easier and faster. I was going to see if you were going to cut and roll them. Anyway, whatever works! 👍

How do you roll the factory edge back on?
@ Raymond Holley, can you post a video as to how you roll your fenders after you cut them, seriously interested in seeing how you do it
At 4:04, the paper is far from level with the body line, you need a tape measure to square things up, and a level!
