The not so rich countries are so rich in traditions, cuisines, down to earth, personal and up close. Unlike many countries in the West where people live robotic lives. This is a joy to watch.
What your people wear is absolutely totally the way we Sri Lankans dress too. The SARONG is a favourite with men and ladies here wears the same. That's a typical Sri Lankan market too. Lots of love from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰.
I've been there before.. Nice friendly people of Myanmar. Every night we go out to eat and drink beers. Nice and delicious food. And also thank you to all security personnel inside the Ship Port for being humble and kind.
The place and scenery definitely looks like here in the Philippines. When it comes to sticky rice foods we have also a wide variety and selections of rice-based products similar to what we watch there.
Mesmerizing, reminds me of some parts of México where the influence of the modern world is somewhat not so strong and you can still get the vibe of a simple yet chaotic life, full of color, sounds, diferent smells and flavors, where every little shop has something good to offer and not just chinese manufactured goods and junkfood.
Dish made at the time 10:40.We used to get it in chennai(india). atho/moinga with soup and fritters my favourite dish. would love to taste the athentic dish in myanmar
peyek ebi, wajik, cendol, ketan bubuk kedelai, cakwe, gorengan, bingka bakar, mirip2 indonesia traditional snack and cake....boleh nih masuk list next backpackeran
We have many same food. A food in first video is so familiar ini Indonesia name Cakwe. But I didn't see Odading or Roti Goreng there. Cause Cakwe and Odading in Indonesia always together in one seller. Then I see Ketan Wajik and Lepet etc.
These r all the hardworking vendors who earn day to day living expenses but now rlly pity for them myanmar is been hit by covid how r they affording their expenses rlly sad for them all❤️

It's the thanaka. It is a paste made from ground bark. The wood of several trees are used to produce thanaka cream. These trees grow abundantly in central Myanmar. It is a distinctive feature of the culture of Myanmar, seen commonly applied to the face and sometimes the arms of women and girls.
This place is literally life, I was here for nearly 3 weeks in 2019 and would give my arm to be back on Myanmar, such a tragedy that the military has overturned the government, not enough is being done to solve this situation for the people of Myanmar.
