She's totally joking. She talks about her family all the time.
She wasn't mad about it or overly defensive, but she was pretty straightforward about the boundaries. It seemed like it was shockingly healthy considering most of the characters she plays.
She seems like the coolest person ever and the most awkward person ever at the same time. How can you not love her?

“He did get a restraining order against me a couple months ago, but I think he was just kidding.”, if that was on an episode of Parks and Rec, that definitely would’ve been a moment where the camera would stay on her 10 seconds after saying that to make an awkward, but funny, silence lol and it’d show her going through a whole thought process

@@mightywizard7475 Well, parks and rec was originally conceived as a spin-off to the office. And was almost soft-piloted via the office (like they later attempted to with "the farm" in the final season). Hence why Rashida Jones crossed over - but they changed their mind and hence her character in p&r became Ann instead of Karen.
